Fletcher is out!

i played fletcher all day, thoughts:

  • his shotgun sucks, always did : P works well for giving when u want to conserve secondary ammo
  • his secondary is imo the best machine-pistol, very high RoF, loses accuracy at longer ranges though
  • his primary way of dealing damage should be sticky bombs. If you use them as you would use a grenade launcher he can be pretty effective, doesnt work very well in the open though; but can one shot auras and proxies
  • much MUCH better at defending, than pushing chokes.

His shotgun seems to have a tightier spread. I wouldn’t say his shotgun is that bad… Knowing how much shotguns are inefficient past close range, a shotgun that can stay efficient at mid range is welcomed.

I love playing Blishlok with him ! Well, the augments with Blishlok cards are not that effective, but they’re still kinda uselful, and the Blishlok allows me to fight at way longer ranges. I just keep the stickies for traps, objective defense and short range encounters.

I just like automatics more because right now, the pc I’m playing on sucks for anything with a sniper rifle or a shotgun.

Fletcher though…I really feel like the stickies need to gib if I stick someone with them, that and the throw should be a tad faster. I’d give up the fast recharge for more consistency.

Even trying to gib downed enemies with the sticky seems too hard.

yup, gibbing players with stickies never works. Just like gibbing players with Nader’s grenade launcher.

At least his shotgun is good for gibbing, two shots can usually gib any merc, and you don’t have to look for the head.

His shotgun makes pretty star decals (the pellet spread that is) :stuck_out_tongue: Maybe the other shotguns do, I have just never noticed ha.

played the shotgun a bit, and while subpar compared to the other two, it definitely packs enough of a punch to peek corners with. Sticky spam + shotgun to finish enemies is pretty effective, save the SMG for fights in the open
