Favourite: Redeye. Hands down my favourite merc of all time.
Most Hated: Oh boy could I go on in this section. For now I’m gonna go ahead and say Bushwhacker.
Least Useful: Hm. This one is harder to answer given that almost any merc I have seen played has been played proficiently by someone (usually @HonourBound or @Cooks2826 ). I’d have to go with the Vasilli’s that seem to think they’re still playing CoD and sit in spawn with a PDP. Or the Sparks that don’t seem to understand that the Revivr can revive and thus use “F” to get players up.

I hate Sparks when she nukes me with that revive gun. Plain and simple.

Actually, Proxy is up there with my most useful merc - the double SMG loadout is incredibly flexible and those mines let you know confidently that the objective is defended.

Although that insta-nuking players is just too fun with Fragger. :smiley:

Most hated - Nader, nades for days and when you jump the corner and she martyrdoms…
Most Useless - Redeye, I hate them on my team 90% of the time as all they do is block my line of sight.

Favorite - Vasilli and Redeye. Maybe approaching 80 hours logged on Vas, and I have a soft spot for the grandeur, in all it’s horribly underwhelming stats.

Most hated - Vasilli, Redeye, and Sparks. Why do I hate Vasilli and Redeye when they’re my favorite mercs? When I play either of the first two, I play in mid range most of the time. My gun with the second most kills is the Tolen for a reason; I push when I play Vasilli. And since I use the grandeur, I’m kinda forced to engage in mid to close range to be able to hit anything more than once in quick succession. It’s the goddamn Vasillis and Redeyes that stand practically in spawn and just stay scoped in waiting for somebody to stand still so they can shoot them that annoy me to no end. I’d rather have a suicide Proxy than one of those Vasillis or Redeyes. At least the suicide Proxy will occasionally get stuff done. I don’t hate Sparks so much as I hate the Revivr gun. She basically can outshoot any sniper rifle without having to ads. Not to say I haven’t abused this, she’s my third most played merc despite not owning her because I always play her on free rotation. But ya, screw that gun. It has the same capabilities of a sniper rifle, why doesn’t it have the hipfire of one?

Most Useless - See aforementioned type of Vasilli and Redeye players. Most of them can’t take a hint. You went 2/23 three games in a row, you aren’t magically going to reverse that score in the fourth game. Pick a different merc, learn to aim with a gun that’s more lenient if you miss the first 10 shots you fire, and don’t even bother playing Vas or Redeye for the near future. You’ll probably die less and get more xp too.

Favorite- Bushwacker, turret is my true friend ;-;

Hated- Fragger (since two of my mains are Aura and Bushwacker, Fragger is a huge counter)

Favourite: Sawbonez but Phoenix seems more capable in the pub setting and is quickly becoming more favourable.

Hated: Rhino - easy cheap kills when up close and hard to stamp out when an Aura in particular is supporting.

Useless: They all have their place tbh. I would say that Phantom’s niche is the weakest.

Favourite = Phantom, Just because Katana + Chopper

Hated = Fragger, “Takes skill to use because you can count for 2 seconds, throw the grenade anywhere and get 8 kills”

Useless = I’d actually say Aura, seeming as most of the time they just insta-revive, which gives you a free death, but personally i think that Healing stations are worse than medpacks + healing pulse.

Useless-anyone not doing the objective

Since the recent update, martyrdom no longer instantly gibs players, so martyrdomed players can still be revived, if they aren’t below a certain amount of hp.
