Honestly, I have no “preferred” merc type. I play Sparks, Fletcher, Nader, Phantom, Proxy and now Red-Eye, on a regular basis.

So, with that alone I honestly couldn’t pick - because I would say I enjoy medic most as Sparks, but I dislike Aura and Sawbonez… Soooooo :s

I had to chose medic as I main sparks and you didn’t have the option I wanted: fast mercs. Those are my favourite, no matter what role. I actually play sparks pretty offensively kicking vassilis’ ass all over the place with her.

This is easy for me. Phantom and Vasilli are my two main mercs, so I will totally vote for recon.

Fire support and assault are kinda on the same level for me, but guess I’ll go with fire support if I’d have to pick. Just because skyhammer’s airstrike can have a huge impact on a game if thrown out well.

I would want to say medics because of sawbonez, but fragger keeps me from going insane when I cease to be any decent in the game. It’s suddenly like turning the game on easy mode!

recon is short for reconnaissance, it means scouting a area. A recon merc scouts the area, to see where the enemy is and gives this information to the rest of team, and scouts usually use sniper rifles

I like fire support, medic and engineer. My 3 mains are one from each of those classes. So hard to vote for only one.
i prefer either supporting others(medic, revive, ammo) or doing the objectives directly(engineer) and let others do the killing sprees.
