oh you did take the first map didnt you? it wouldve been called a double full hold, but i guess this system goes by progress bar?

either way was solid games
Both teams finished whitechapel. We managed to finish 2 minutes faster than you did I think. Either way, we had two brand new players so I kept it as balanced as always. The need for a deciding map says alot about the teams!

(Kl3ppy) #42

I dont want to hurt your feelings, but the most balanced teams were create by Mustang a couple of drafts ago

(Seanza) #43

More balanced than this one?

fzl says much when he’s winning

(Seanza) #45

Winning or whining?

(Kl3ppy) #46

No comment

The best two teams were a few months ago. both teams won one map each. The decider was London Bridge (Don’t ask why…) Defending team held the last 10 meters for 5 minutes and the attackers were only <1m from winning. Closest game ever!

(Ashog) #48

And after that people started selecting evaczone stack teams…

(attack) #49

sry i have to say it ,but potty have always the best players in his own team :D.

(Seanza) #50

I’m going to take that as a compliment <3

(attack) #51

next time let me create teams .i can get it fair, without this premade teams.
it looks like some people dont like to lose

Last night was the first time in a LONG time they were “pre-made” Rest of the times I select evenly skilled captains and get them to pick. Also, listening to other teams on teamspeak the comms are awful. I have had some silent people in my team before but I pretty much whine at them till they start talking. By the end of the game all 5 people are giving clearly instructions. If nobody at all playing these drafts can give call outs and take control of a team, thats nothing to do with anyone apart from those players. The fact last night we went in with 2 new players who knew nothing about the game and little about the maps says alot for how well we was able to get them to communicate.

(Seanza) #54

Sounds familiar

(attack) #55

(potty200) #56

No, that was just my team being awful. Nothing I could do to change that.

(Seanza) #57

Nonsense boy! That was you going in a huff because nobody knew what to do on a map they’d never played before. If your team was awful, they wouldn’t have rolled on Trainyard - a map they know well.

(INF3RN0) #58

I always suck on trainyard/camden this patch, 30fps ftw! I’m also not entirely sure what you mean by picked teams attack??? We had captain picks almost every time and no one ever picked anyone on potty’s team first lol. We just ended up all playing regularly enough together that we developed some decent teamwork I guess.

(BAMFana) #59

Captains drafting teams usually works out alright, but it depends on all the captains knowing the players in the draft. I remember captaining a saturday draft tournament about a month ago where I got first pick quality players on my 2nd and 3rd picks because the other captains didn’t know the players, and that obviously ended up with ridiculously one-sided games. So sometimes it might be better to have pre-made teams, when there’s not enough knowledgeable captains to go around.

+1 for this
