[Edit : After checking twitter and all i can see how this is absolutely rudicilous. Even the logitech G Kira codes are placed so that they’re unreadable and it’s just like 4 codes. But above that that single nader code to ‘‘Celebrate’’ is just Insane

if there is any issue its that the give away was poorly worded. As it is worded atm it doesnt look so much like a generous act, it looks like an attempted publicity stunt gone sour.

The whole “celebrating 4th july” thing is just off kilter if you are going to make prize thing out of it like thins. its like calling for a celebration of the 4th of july - announcing a great pyrotechnics fireworks display!!! - and when everyone shows up for a look its just one guy in the middle of a park trying to set fire to his own farts.

I can see what the OP is going on about here.

Why have a code giveaway that gives away ONE code. That is just weird, is it not? I was kinda bummed, cos I would love a new merc, but seriously, 1 code? It would have literally been the first person who happened to see it. A bit odd, never seen a giveaway like that before. Hoping it was a mistake.

It’s not about giving away the code… Problem is that they give away ONE single-use code.

Single use code is giveaway you can do on twitch, so people open up their steam and whoever’s first. But if you do it in facebook, it’s just bad manners and poor marketing.
What they should do is something like 100 uses code, or maybe a small raffle so if you participate on next day you get code on emails(preferably 100+ people) or other thing like that.

It’s just down to lack of professionalism.

Also, I had nader since ever… I’m not unhappy about getting the code, it’s just that it was very poor move by Splash Damage. If you do something, do it right.
