[B]“use bug report, this isn’t a first impression :p”

I already “excused” myself for getting a bit off topic in the first post I’ve put in this thread, that I’ve opened myself. But everybody has his opinion, just like everyone has an a…hole, and some just feel the need to express that individually, even if something was already clarified. So far, so good, but giving me a Red-Star for that one is just a tiny bit over the top, wouldn’t you say?
Now don’t get me wrong, I don’t care too much about the “star-system”, but there must be something thoroughly wrong with someone’s post(maybe being offensive, or stuff like that), before I’d give someone a Red-Star. In my opinion there are three levels of handling bad replies, or posts;
#1, ignoring it entirely; when it’s just not your opinion, but not totally wrong.
#2, replying too it and making clear, that you think someone is completely wrong; when you think somebody is completely wrong
#3, giving someone a Red Star; because he’s either getting personal, in an offensive way; is writting complete and utter nonsense, that only makes sense in the author’s world, or when someone writes walls of hate, or whine, with absolutely no substance, or constructive value to it.
Stuff like that, but not for just straying a little bit away from topic.
Ok folks, that’s about it in this regard. And nobody has to tell me, that the above is completely off-topic, has to give me a Red-Star for it, or has to even reply to it; I know it.
Thanks for your attention.
Best Regards
