Just to chime in here of why it happened: the payment process can finish from either your browser or from the side of the bank. Because both parties (your browser or the remote bank) don’t talk to each other much, they will both attempt to finish the transaction. When I added the automatic key generation I did not think about that part and there was a small window of opportunity where both code paths would trigger and give you a key. :frowning:

Although it was a mistake. for those of us that paid 120$ and did not receive this extra benefit will there be actions made? Seems only fair.

Can’t fault you for asking but it’s hardly an extra benefit, it was an error. Maybe come the closed beta they’ll give everyone accepted up to that point another key for their friends.

Slightly OT but I also think that with the current $120 entry price to the alpha, dishing out a lot of keys now would just end up with many going on ebay or being traded.

All that said, they should invite Warwitch, some other casters and social media people as soon as they’re in a position to have a game with features they’d appreciate and have some expert opinion on.

I thought I’d round off the picky post with a more positive shoutout, as I expected that was the person you was talking about giving the key to. Right now though, he’d really just be playing the game as there isn’t much else to comment on. When the spectator, stats, comp stuff is more mature I imagine SD would be throwing keys at these people.

Ah so that explains it, was trying to figure out if this was intentional. I doubt everyone else will get keys as it wasn’t listed as part of the package and was simply an error. I wouldn’t ask about being fair otherwise they might revoke all those extra keys to satisfy everyone :rolleyes:…

Still miffed how some people were invted here and he still hasn’t been given a key! He is promoting this game on a weekly basis building a group of viewers ready for teh release of dirtybomb!

Back to my original post. It’s safe to say the second key comes with everything since it was a bug and not a “friend” assigned code.

glad they not going to take my second key. Going to fix my desktop next week and want to install the game on it.
