ok i cant believe you dropped them and if you did im really mad of SD!
i played so much time to get These dumb cases (about 85 hours with 6 booster) and guess what? nothing! i played this game very much but i think i have to say goodbye if the only Event we get for months is bugged as hell and the developers thinks we are dumb and just say it works as intended.

I wish people could be as nonchalant about these event cases as me. It would be cool to get one, but I’m not gonna start forming conspiracy theories around them when I don’t get one.

Also, why are randomdeath and Jesus behind bars, they obviously still can post anyway. I’ve been away for a while so I’m pretty out of the loop

You have chosen wisely! Yeah, parts of the community sort of went full retard on drop boosters, due to lack of comprehension skills, where after they started fabricating all sorts of lies and FUD.

Well, if the boosters actually were messed up, I think they could get in trouble for false advertisement? I mean Its not real money, but people could have spent money on credit booster or the trinket to get more cycles to spend on these, and if they didn’t actually work, hmm idk.

No, it wouldn’t be false advertisement as they never explained how the boosters really worked in the first place before people spent cycles on them.

Also, there is no direct way to convert money into credits or cycles. If you bought a CREDIT booster and it worked as intended there is nothing you can do. If people could sue game companies for what the player chose to use their in game currency on then Riot would be out of business after all the champion reworks, etc. They literally change most things about a champion after people have purchased them directly with currency that was converted directly from cash.

So no, there is no liability on SD in what has happened because you received what you paid real money for. If you received nothing in exchange for money then there might be a serious problem.

Sooo… it was supposed not to drop a suspect case with 10 boosters for a week even tho the drop rate was advertised to be “equivalent of equipment cases in normal play”, which drop around every 3 matches.

As Splash Damage said - if you truly went the whole week without getting a drop, on 10 boosters, please contact support and they will look into your account directly and check if anything is not working as intended. Buy-and-large most of the people that reported them “not working” were only on 1-5 boosters at most… this is most certainly NOT 10 and doesn’t add up anywhere near the same odds.

This is a bit of a nit-pick, but it’s possible to buy the Down and Dirty Pack which comes with 50k credits, and then convert them directly to cycles.

Relative to past events, the boosters are, in theory, a nice addition…in theory, accelerate a special event case drop. The communication of how exactly the boosters worked was where the problem was…SD acknowledged this.

Were they bugged, even for a short time…SD says no…but maybe…they are addressing other bugs in the game with each update (to their credit)…we’ll never know for sure.
