(h2o) #81

I dont play guys! You got 25 ppl without me + back up so it is np :> I am busy this night, cant play

(slanir) #82

Sorry I can’t play today, I signed for event on thursday. :frowning:

(INF3RN0) #83

Oh I completely missed that this was still happening. Derp.

(prophett) #84

Has this started yet?

(Seanza) #85

It didn’t happen, think people aren’t really enjoying the latest patch enough.

(Nail) #86

saw 2 full servers earlier, as well as 4 others with players

(Seanza) #87

Ja, seems it went ahead. Miscom from Funky

(MikeyTWolf) #88

No passworded servers means this isn’t happening for a while, we kept getting pubbers in, and didn’t really have enough to have two matches at once.

Also there’s quite a very rough edge both optimisation and balance wise this patch.

To be honest, I’m thinking of just kicking it till beta. Because to be honest, you don’t really need to test the game so much at this point when there’s still a lot of work to be done getting SOMETHING finished to then build and improve on, like a more functional menu and in-game barracks amongst other things.

I could gripe a lot about a variety of things that made me not have fun but I don’t really see any big changes until later when there’s only little things to do.
I do believe the new classes are all inferior to their predecessors in one way or another though, and not just because of experience. Unfortunately the optimisation hit renders everything coming down to insane snipers, what team you’re on and FOPs’ Assault Rifle/Airstrike for me.

(Wezelkrozum) #89

I enjoyed the matches! We didn’t have 20 players so we made 3 teams. All teams won 1 match (That’s some real balance!).

(EvoSteven) #90

This TOTALLY happened!

Just a bit of a problem with mercs having pliers. Everyone can disarm so when they planted the wall on Waterloo, we just suicide rushed onto the C4. It was VERY effective ;_;

(Kl3ppy) #91

Was real fun. Super balanced games!

(Ashog) #92

Terrible games. Having planted on Waterloo around 20 plants and all disarmed is not really much fun of SD gamestyle. Instead this is wanking in its pure state. Will wait till next patch fixes it.

(Mustang) #93

Yes it went ahead, as follows:

Team #1
Shifty
Ashog
Fuzzel
Stylez
Aseph

Team #2
Mustang
Wezelkrozum
MonThePonies
Mazesc
MikeyTWolf / Sickboogie

Team #3
Winnie
Djesse
Nackskott
NinjaKornJace
EvoSteven

Game #1 Camden - Team #1 vs Team #2
Team#1 attacked first, they were slow at obj#1, fine on obj#2, very fast on obj#3 and fine on obj#4, completed in 13ish minutes. Team #2 were faster on obj#1, slow on obj#2, slow on obj#3 and ran out of time on obj#4. Team#1 win.

Game #2 London Bridge - Team #2 vs Team #3
Team#1 went afk so team#2 played the next map instead. Team#2 attacked first, they were slow on obj#1, fine on barrier#1 and barrier#2, and fine on obj#2, all the time was used and the EV was 0% on the way to exit, but it had both milkjugs loaded. Team #3 were fine on obj#1, slow on barrier#1 and slow on barrier#2, they had 5ish minutes to try and load EV, but only managed to get 1 milkjug, a couple of nice saves on 2nd milkjug by Mustang. Team#2 win.

Game #3 Waterloo - Team #3 vs Team #1
Team #3 attacked first, they were slow on obj#1, fine and obj#2 and only destroyed 1 container on obj#3 before time ran out. Team #1 were very very slow on obj#1, full team disarms ftw, fine on obj#2, but didn’t have time to get any plants to stick on obj#3, even though they did get a couple of double plants down. Team #3 win.

TL;DR
Each team wins 1 game each. Somone said Mustang was the best at picking balanced teams, but I don’t remember who said it.

(fzl) #94

djiesse was in Team 3 and sdStylez in Team 1

ggs to all…but all players seen this is so unbalanced atm…

see ya

Have to admit the number of plants and defuses in Waterloo was just ridiculous. As thrilling as it was to pull off these crazy pile-on last-second defuses, I can understand the frustration that Ashog and fzl were feeling. We’ll need class-specific proficiencies with very significant variations if SD intends to keep objectives open to everyone.

On a positive note, the whole thing was fun nonetheless, just much more chaotic then previous matches. And I guess it speaks well for the accessibility of the game overall that some of the guys on our team admittedly didn’t know the objectives on the maps we played at the start and we still pulled two very close games

GG everyone!

Yeah, this was really annoying on the one hand but also funny on the other hand. I hope they change the rates for the not primary objective classes soon.

(Ashog) #97

This is not funny at all and will make you bored and frustrated on the long run.

This also breaks any competitive strategies and gameplay.

(MrFunkyFunk) #98

Sorry I signed up for thursday, you should have remade a new post when the patch was announced.
Also I was one of skepticals, wasn’t interested in playing a cup on the new build after I tested it.

Same here, no grenades and everyone repair + disarm are just deal breakers, even if I like the new feeling, colors, and classes

(Nackskott) #100

did anyone record the game? so we can watch the replay?
