You look at the likes of SD or K1rua’s team. Playing vs such strong opponents first round and getting knocked down so early would suck right? (Not saying they will automatically get knocked out as I expect close games!)

We played them yesterday and almost won ^^ - So don’t underestimate us

As for “not accepting an uneven amount of teams” this is a little bit unfair on teams who have put in the effort to be told “sorry you are too late, better luck next time”

Which is why they were seeded around #7 and you was seeded #8. These seeds were done even before last nights scrim and we got it spot on it seems. Just goes to show how much thought and effort we put into this cup.

On a side note, can you play at 18:30 BST / 19:30 CET vs Ashog so the rest of the brackets do not get delayed? He is more or less sure he can play at this time.

fact is that i as example have a very high winrate in drafts .i also won 3 or 4 cups out of 8

We seed on the basis that we know how each player lines up. Myself and Sean spoke a good few hours last night andthe night before about seeds. Like I said. You take these 9 teams and make a bracket which is “fair” in your eyes. Because it sure as hell willnot please everyone

Has nothing to do with luck. They said in an earlier post brackets/teams where seeded. Which means they ranked all teams and after that the bracket was generated in a way, that the highest seeds dont play too early against each other. Normally this ensures that its quite likely that the final is also the top game with the best teams.

In other words, they decided who plays against who. Correct me when i am wrong, this is just my understanding…

playing ducks and cross atlantic bros should be in different brackets, so that they meet each other in final. easy as that. but seeing how this is double elim… 2nd chance sucks.
