Why not just push the devs to make them available to everyone, even if we have to pay for them, atleast we are dealing with a legit business and not some random guy over the internet or over paying like crazy on e-bay, or even trying to scam one out of a retailer. I know you saw the thread where i stated to BADMAN that it was unfair that some will be going around with more weapons then everyone else and then BADMAN ignored the points and just re-stated the what I already said about them being the “same” guns as others. Still doesnt give a justification for some having more gun then others. 33% more weapons over other Lights and 40% more pistols.

I know. “exclusive” means everyone can’t have them. that’s the non-politically correct way of stating it. and can be resold at a price even if it has no true value, except for the “exclusive” part makes it have a value for re-sale. similar to a limited edition collectors card that you got with Spiderman #1. But was in limited quantities. you could have bought that collectors edition but may have not gotten access to buy it. Ya know? this stuff’s been done in comics long ago. similar, its like being part of a band’s fanclub and getting a christmas single every year. it is exclusive to fanclub members, just as “psycho pack” is exclusive to amazon shoppers.

I still have my Gold Foil Edition of Todd Mcfarlane’s Spiderman #1 by the way.:wink:

Your ignoring the points just as they do… More weapons and attacments means some are getting IN GAME advantages over others even if for many its a small advantage. No one should have an advantage like that, some may have 1 or ZERO pre order codes but others can have all 4. Doesnt seem fair to me that to be on equal ground with the person who has 4 I have to take a chance with some random person online selling one (if you can even find what you are looking for) or scam a retailer.

It’s already been stated that the stats for the weapons in the pre-order packs are the same as the stock weapons in game, so that point is rather moot. The only thing you really get is a shiny icon next to your kills that not everybody can get, which isn’t any kind of advantage. Also, the majority of whats in the packs are clothes, tattoos or skins, with only I think 2 actual weapons, one silencer which does nothing except for offer a different cosmetic, and then the greeneye scope, which some people say is different than whats offered in game. I have it and don’t use it because I don’t like it.

Also about your point with how some people can have all 4 packs, technically anybody can have all 4 packs, they just have to spend the money on it, so people aren’t missing out on things. You can find a few websites that still offer games with the codes in it, like GAME in UK or the EB franchise in Aussie land, then there is ebay.

DUDE OMG HOW MANY TIMES MUST I REPEAT MYSELF, HOW DOES THIS NOT REGISTER TO YOU!!!

ok look say you all have 4 pre orders and I have none cause i got the game used.

YOU now have 33%more weapons then me and 40% more pistols if we both choose the light class, this means you can have more overall weapon set ups. The stats being the same means you now how 2 of 1 gun and can have two set ups for it. This is just one example…

And are you serious, becasue the stats are the same it doesnt mater, my WHOLE POINT is that they ARENT diff guns but give you a SECOND optional setup for the gun. Not so hard to choose attachments when you can have two setups.

I am no longer responding to ANYONE unless they actually READ and COMPHREHEND what I am trying to say before they reply forcing me to repeat myself for the 1,000,000th time. Half of this persons response shows they have NO IDEA of the point I am trying to make and I doubt looked any further into it then maybe the first sentance of my post.

^ Er…I think I read last week that Battlefield3 will have pre-order bonuses that 100% add an advantage. Could be far, far worse, my friend. We all understand what you are saying. But pre-order bonus concept in general is rather frustrating in general if you want all the content regardless of whether or not it adds an advantage. we are just trying to ease the blow here. this pre-order bonus stuff is similar to licensing. look at it that way. they licensed those bonuses in an agreement with x retailer. I am not sure what deal they have exactly or whether or not they could in-turn sell the stuff at a future date. even if there is a marginal level of advantage in the bonus stuff, its minimal at best.

I just want an ACKNOWLEDGEMENT and EXPLAINATION of how its “fair”. Because thus far all I have seen is zero acknowledgement and being told “its doesnt matter the gun stats are the same”, which IMO doesnt refute any of the many examples I could draw up about how it could be an avantage to some people.

If someone knows how to best use the set ups I feel it can be a NICE advantage to have over others. I often wish I could do other guns like my Bulpdaun and DOOM Bulpdaun, I often will use both in the same match, one is silenced for each guy I have and the other is muzzle breaked with other minor set up changes between both for each character… And as I said its more of a problem the smaller the body type, for lights its the most glaring, come on now, really 33%more guns and 40% more pistols, thats a decent amount of other gun set ups to have especially when they are “duplicates” of what many consider the “better” guns in the game.

If we all had just the one that came with the game then no prob… but the fact that only SOME will be able to get all 4 is whats unfair. Its an advantage only for those who can find and afford it. I thought this game was all about fairness and balance, this goes directly against those key stones. Dont see why everyone wouldnt want more guns anyway, why for some and not for others, give everyone the option or just more options overall so having the extra 4 becomes less and less of an advantage.
