Hello all,
For everyone wondering when we are going to have our next official beta test it will be happening around August - September… Why wait so long? Currently there are over four maps in production and many being planned, plus two maps have been canned those being “Berlin” (you’ll remember this map if you were with us from the begining) and “Stalingrad Docks” (this was my fault, the map was completely inacurate and looked nothing like the actual location).
Also in developement are more weapon models, currently the “PPSH” (seen in last beta test) is nearly finished and many new weapons are to come. Another reason the wait will be so long is due to our server being down which is currently undergoing repairs and finally we want everything to be perfect by then.
So expect some big changes and stick around for photos, videos, possible small play tests, map demos and much more which could occur until then. We will have plenty of surprises for the next beta and before then.

Just wondering… If you want to add realism, maybe then you will allow field ops to have a limited supply of ammo to be carried? I mean at the spawn point the field op can choose which ammo to take with him, for example 40 caliber bullets - 10 clips, 1 mortar round, 1 panzer round etc. Same with medics - a limited supply of medpacks. This will eliminate a chargebar, and as xp you can allow a higher amount of supplies to be taken per field op…
And probably an ability to call an arty on the command map (these are just the suggestions! nothing more), as in the real life you can just give coordinates for arty and it will start shooting there.
Also, as it was requested in mod section - crew-served weapons support, not just mg42, but an ability for mapper to place any weapon as a crew-served.
If I will have some more Ideas I will switch to your forums

well our plan is not field ops limitiation so far but
different ammo crates per ammo type
that would make it hard to choose which crate to give
But the idea is to completely eliminate such thing as chargebar.
Field ops will become one of the most needed classes for others
As it will be possible to give an advatnage for soldier, allowing him just reload weapon, without using chargebar, the limitation will be supply of the ammo. Same for medics
And I also mean that the dyno, satchel, and other special weapons will have an ammo counter too. But this is just a thought.
i totaly agree with u troy! thats one of our things i say that is important to add! its allso important to add so u only can have 1 panzerfaust! and not 4 panzerfaust bullets! this gun is not a gun but a rocket… it only got 1 shot and when u have used that shot u wont be able to shot with the same panzerfaust… u will shot with a new one… :evil:

i also make prefabs (and maps but i havnt made 1 yet, only alot of half finish ones)
Not sure about panzer. But usual bazooka is 1 bullet in tube, 3 bullets in backpack.
and whats damn annoying is you didnt have a backup of it when pytox’s HD was wiped 
WTF are u talking about?? i didnt had the .map… at any time… i only made a prefab for him… where should i get the backup from?
he is starting over… but i think it will be better this time… btw, i also lost a map… it was so great… so great…

Btw, you guys are doing aircrafts, but the maps are too small for them, what about helicopters? They were used in WWII
mhh… i thought the armericans invented it… i think it would be a bad idea for having helicopters in EF… they where surely never used in battles
They were used in battles. (few topics ago I was told that helicopters were surely not used in WWII :lol: )
