If your server has pb off, you need to manually update client, otherwise no guid

Ok got it.
It seems like ill have to wait for while couse i dont want to enable pb on server yet, this makes too many people to disconnect and every and each player does matter with newly started server.

I dont know if sv_punkbuster 1 will solve your problem. You want to avoid all those duplicate client GUID disconnects? Well, you will solve that with PB, but this little, buggy tool will kick players. Have you never ever been kicked by punkbuster? Heartbeats stopped? Communication failure? No Package Flow? Well anyway, enable PB on your server, and then count how many players get kicked by PB. And I bet those are a lot more than the few who connect without a GUID now.

Bro I know each and play matters, but once players will have impression that your server is non PB server and all cheaters openly cheat their it will cause long term harm.

Their are tons of server with PB enabled. Feel free to post for what errors they get kicked and others members on splashdamage including myself will help. :slight_smile:

It’s sad that only few makes the trouble ticket at EB.
