Does anyone else feel like the airstrike cool down balance is a little out?

It probably scales off how much ammo they actually need. Dunno. I know a while back when I played Skyhammer all the time I used it a lot. Maybe things changed and I didn’t read the patch notes or it’s bugged. I could also just be an idiot too.

Also, a lot of people forget this, but you can reduce Skyhammer’s airstrike time by getting direct hit ammo packs on teammates. Same with Arty

You got that backwards. If you direct hit someone, their cooldown for their ability gets reduced.

You’re right. Last night me and Aph went Arty and Skyhammer, and I can confirm that every direct pack he hit me with took 4 seconds off my Skyhammers cooldown. Super super super efficient on Chapel.

So efficient it can be abused? 2 Skymers could possibly shave off more than 1/3 of airstrike cooldown within seconds (shoot a bullet, reload, throw a pack, grab a pack, repeat).

Actually, even if you have full ammo, but have an ability on cooldown, a direct hit with an ammo pack will consume the ammo pack and give you the cooldown reduction.
