I use Tampa with a pistol to compensate for its inaccuracy. I also use the Bulpdaun, but not as a secondary. For secondary smg, I’ll often choose drum mag Galactic.

The recoil isn’t a problem at all, at least with a grip + muzzle brake. The accuracy is the real drawback. It’s the least accurate SMG next to the Tampa. I value accuracy over damage, at least in this game, so I’m rockin’ the Kross as my secondary.

I use the Tampa as secondary weapon. Mostly for closer range combat. Carb, just looks like an assault rifle, (maybe that’s why I don’t use it. LOL)

I use the Carb for close encounters, and the Balpdaun for mid-long range. Two great weapons to have too if you’re engaged in a close firefight but your primary runs out of ammo before the enemy does health pull out secondary - nicely finishes the enemy off.

One of the best weapons combos in the game in my opinion.

So does anyone pride themselves on being unique or is everyone just content on knowing that everyone uses the same 3 things?

What happens if SD nerfs the Carb, Kross and Balpdaun in some way? Will everyone still use them because you think they are cool? Or just jump wagon onto the next best thing?

If there was a gun that was pink and made your in-game character have on and wear a yellow and purple polka dotted dress but at the same time the pink gun was a 2 shot kill, 100 round, full range, ehhh semi auto, and no recoil. Would you use that then?

Typically, I’ll use the most effective stuff 80-90% of the time, and try cool stuff 10-20%. I’ve tried heavies, played with the Rhett because it looks so cool, used different SMGs, I played without drum mags because I think they look a bit silly. But mostly, I’ll go with what works the best, which most maps is drum mag carb-9 plus sea eagle.

Is this a trick question? Effective weapons >>> aesthetic fluff that doesn’t affect gameplay.

And yes, I would rather win than feel unique, so I’m going to use the best weapon I can. I don’t really care what everyone else uses.

So if winning is all that matters then these types of players are the same ones that will power vote for a level like Container City if they are Resistance and Reactor if they are Security just for the sake of avoiding a fun challenge at all cost and do so in attemps to grind out a worthless win?

What does winning entitle?

You know this game has many ways and tools to win matches. Using the best guns in game does not make you good.

Now tell me how does it feel when someone kills you with a lesser weapon when you are using the best weapons and at the same time only care about winning? Do you feel good knowing that you have to use the best guns and that you get beat?

All depends on which character I’m using. I really like the bulpdaun (sp) but it’s clip is tiny and the carry capacity sucks too.

I actually really like the galactic, and no not because I suck and don’t know how to play I’m really quite good.

I use the grenade launcher, shotgun or the berret as a secondary.

After reading this thread, I’m content in knowing that people don’t use the same 3 things.

I love the Kross, it’s in nearly every one of my setups (only playing medium so far), but I wouldn’t mind it being less effective because I like the Rhett, the Lobster and the Mossington an aweful lot.

You cant be unique because the SMGs are so overpowered. The spray and pray in this game is on the verge of flat out ridiculousness. Lets just run gun and never even worry about aiming. I take pride in having good accuracy and this game has none. Ya can def tell this is a console port.
