DLC not working..
i’m having the exact same problem…verifying the game cache did not do anything.
Same problem here. New outfits, abilities, and weapons are showing up, but no new maps. Verifying game cache didn’t fix it, I’m reinstalling now to see if that does anything.
Also, I’m not sure if this is the same problem or a new one, but the new achievements also aren’t showing up for me. I can still earn them, but unearned ones don’t show up on my achievements list.

I’ve added a further fallback step to the stickied troubleshooting thread if verifying the game cache has not worked for you.
I think I may have spotted part of the issue, upon doing the added stuff my game only downloaded the following files:
zzzdlcenglish000.sdmd2
zzzdlcenglish000.sdpk2
The other 3 files are still missing. Yes, I have the DLC registered to my account. Yes, I’ve done verify multiple times. This is really frustrating, not only a buggy and underwhelming launch, not only taking forever to patch the issues, but now dealing with this DLC that is so troublesome to install that it’s almost not even worth the time. I have yet to see another company have so many issues with the Steam patching/DLC system.
Update: I know it may take a while… But I’m going to try a full reinstall… Maybe it’s one of the game files giving a fit…
Also, when I heard we were getting a “shield”, I was thinking a full on riot shield we could use to push objectives… I’m honestly feeling kind of let down. If any game could really use a riot shield, this game is that game. Not only that, but no other FPS games are using riot shields anymore. Last game I remember seeing one in was Counter Strike: Condition Zero…
Update 2: Completely uninstalling and reinstalling the game and deleting all the Brink files in the Steam folder (including the “brink” folder itself" has caused the game to download the DLC stuff finally… Now to launch and see if it actually works…
Update 3: DLC works fine now.

My game only downloaded those two files also and I have the same problem. I deleted them, verified integrity, and it redownloaded only those two files. Still doesn’t work.
All I can say is your AI is still HORRIBLE! I feel like even on easy like I’m being paired with a bunch of down syndrome retards that can’t manage to do a simple repair objective. It’s sure isn’t me holding the team back, it’s the dip****s on my team that can’t complete the objectives. Honestly, this game has been my biggest regret when it comes to purchases this year.
*Released with TONS of bugs.
*Released with shoddy AI that has yet to be fixed.
*Has almost NOONE playing.
*First DLC is free for ONLY the first 2 weeks. (Seriously, who the hell does this? Is someone at your offices mentally defunct?)
The game is an utter disaster at best, and the reviews support it. Now this DLC required me not only to delete the DLC from my computer, but the entire game, and redownload it all just so I could play the crap. The AI is absolutely HORRID on the destroy objective on the last stage of Founders’ Tower on offense. Got the entire way there on easy only to have my guys running in circles, tripping over mines, and avoiding the main objective so they can suck each other off.
To make people eventually pay for DLC for a game like this in it’s current state is deserving of being ousted by the gaming community. I pre-ordered ET:QW and it was the same deal there. The game had such a horribly buggy release that took so long to fix that the entire community died before ANYTHING could be made of the game.
I have followed all of the steps in the OP and it is still not working. I have DLC abilities, not maps. Everytime I verify integrity of game cache, it downloads a very small file that is almost instant.
I even uninstalled Brink and still have this issue. Frustrating.
UPDATE: I renamed my Steam ClientRegistry.blob as instructed here - https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=7241-EYON-2343
Brink is now downloading a 480 meg file!!! Looks like the maps are being dled now - to those having the problem try the step I did and see what happens. Note I also did the “official” steps posted previously by the dev in this thread prior to renaming ClientRegistry.blob.

The cache worked second time round. I let it download fully. I think the error happened originally due to me downloading the DLC while being in game still…
