The month is more than half over and still no date on the dlc… this is getting pathetic, on who’s part im not sure, and just plain boring. Im no longer interested in looking forward to this.

Well if they just fully embraced Robocop and build that statue of him like everyone wanted then I can see Detroit turning around in no time, but as long as its Eminem everyone will write atleast another 2-3 albums raging about how much they hate their ex and their mom before they even think about actually doing anything about it (Fixing Detroit or moving on)…

Im a sad panda :frowning: I want to Brink so bad but with over 120 hours I cant bring myself to until this damn DLC is here. Infamous 2 is keeping me from shooting and sliding into people nads grrrrr

XBL just had a massive update. Took me 10 minutes to DL and install. I’m wondering if this is partially the reason for the delay.

It DLed then did something weird and then restarted… DLed some more… then restarted and at that point it took around 2 minutes.

Did you also get an update when you ran brink?

What the heck? I just re-installed Brink from DVD. Now the Steam updater says something like 1:20 hours for updating it. And its hardly progressing. What the…???

Probably the patches since release, I’d assume.

Another theory is the game only installs so far from disc and completes via Steam, not sure if that’s true.

The fixes were mainly code corrections and tweaks. No huge files like you’d have with extra contend. Audio and texture files are huge but not the usual patch files. You can have a huge Patch where people worked for weeks on and its only 10 mb in size.
