You are right. Somehow the settings turned to high. But I can’t say that the FPS improved because I didn’t test it with the right settings in the previous patch.

BTW: isn’t the FPS locked at 333 ? It stays at 333 and doesn’t go higher.


Seems like GPU usage went backwards. Well FPS feels the same. Previous patch it would stay at 99% usage.

Patch feels better. Fogginess is mostly gone, needs another tweak. Crouch jumping working feels nice. Player models still need some work, I still feel as though they aren’t “part of the world”. I don’t really know how to explain it but they need more fluidity. I really wish we could remove objectives from the screen and move it to minimap. I think TTK is just a tad high, but this could be from being forced to play on euro servers.

First:
Need more (stable 120) FPS. Without a proper running game (way below 60 FPS), you can dump ALL the testresults.
I just have a crappy old 3.0 GHz Quadcore, 8 GB RAM, and a GTX 460 (768MB)…
So my PC exceeds the recommended specs, and overclocking the GPU doesnt really help.
The moment my FPS go up, the enemys go down incredibly fast…

Second:
Take all the “new features, gimmicks and mechanics”, the semiscopes, the shottys, the mines, the eye-sensor,
and shove them up your asses. Seriously, i am sick of this bull****. I just want a shooter where skill matters…
If you want, keep them for public n00bing in Call of DirtyBomb,
but don´t expect anyone to play with this crap in the comp scene.

Anyway, the game actually runs somewhat now on my pc. Great news.

thats not fair .to do a game is buisness too, they must look what have the most chances on the market and you can like it or not fact is SD try new stuff that alone have to get respect.
im not glad with all descisions but SD is me more symphatic than activision ,ea…
and that we can play in alpha shows us they want lket us part of it

Agreed ! no problem with most of the abilities, only with the 3rd eye you can quickly detonate mid air (maybe can detonate few seconds later when hit the ground can be cool) Major issue to me are the MG clearly OP (Need to do more damage on the EV than on players for example) and this dam TTK … just not fun at all, to easy to frag no duel anymore. Like said before I really hope the next one you gonna tweak the ROF or the damages. (was hopping for this one, so I’m a bit disappointed …)

For the new Maps implement (bush cut, new stuff on camden, etc …) it’s really nice, maps became a bit less claustrophobic, but still need some more open maps, sides way and side objectives. An maybe if possible in a the futur bigger maps (DLC?) for bigger fights !

Makes a decent difference. I just want it GONE completely.

I spoke to soon shifty. I didn’t know IFF editing is now even further possible. Thanks shifty I love that screenshot under the iff section. Much cleaner.

The Eye’ Cam could get more health, then the problem of “The Eye’ Cam is the New Nade” should be solved (or whatever it was called).

But i am pretty sure this is was only a pretended reason of dislike :slight_smile: Me for my part thinks its cool and i hope it stays. But i already knew how comps (or those who call themself like that) would react.

In the end, comp server settings could solve all problems though, so no reason to panic lol

The detonation behavior of the Eye Cam is not working as intended - it will be fixed so that it can only be detonated once it has ‘stuck’ to something.

Few things I would like to add about the new patch:

  • The shotgun is plain awful to play against. 1 shot close up and you are dead.
  • I feel the players are now thinner? Is this just me? Eitherway something has changed with the player skins which I am not a fan of.
  • Can we add a timer on the page somewhere to show when your teams next spawn is?

Top thing on my list:

  • PLEASE can you make it so when a new patch is released it doesn’t set your config back to default! :slight_smile: (Really don’t like this zoom while sprinting. Would be interested to know if anyone uses this or not?)

I agree on the showing spawn timer thing. I also agree with the models…they feel thinner and not so part of the world, they just seem out of place. To me it just feels like they have no weight. Very strange.

Crouch jump hell yea, the movement is getting the way better. Animation is a bit blurry for me but it could be my rig…60fps sync on.
Anyway, if you could enable faster strafe somehow, please :smiley: Overall, the movement feels faster, thank you SD
