First of all, Hitsounds… People’s greed and ambition towards getting the hitsounds is so intense! So I think putting hitsounds should be the primary goal to be added to the game. Especially Wolfenstein Enemy Territory hitsounds from etpro should be the finest choice. (COUGH COUGH Headshot hitsound the dinks) Im sure the rest of the players on dirty bomb are mostly ET players and Im almost sure that they all want the ET hitsounds. If the developers can take this more into consideration that would be great. Because I’m sure many, many ET players and other players will be happy to hear that there are going to be ET hitsounds.
Secondly, the leans! Yes leaning is another factor that is to be needed. Leaning left, right should be added asap, and I prefer it to be so that you can’t be seen by the other player if your leaning, unless if your leaning too much to the side only then you can be seen.
Thirdly, proning! Proning should be the most necessary source of offense and defense in all combat games, in fact with proning its more intense, harder, easier, and much fun!
Last but not least, strafing. Strafing is also another necessary key factor in shooting games, regardless… I know there was smart movement in Brink, and I know it’s not possible to get strafing like W:ET but some kind of special movement should be done in this game. For instance, something like jumping and crouching to achieve higher levels, etc.
Also there should be an option to see your teammate’s name on their head without holding Z. And more customization for HUD, for instance its so annoying when people are talking and the chat box is coming in the middle of your screen. Also there should be a way to pick up guns off the floor, and maybe add ammo/medic rooms like ET, in ET there are racks of ammos/medics on some maps, etc.

Why not the lean and prone? It is necessary for more intensive gameplay, and its more realistic as well.

100% agree ! campers tools not needed
ET style lean was god awful. Quake wars lean was also disabled in comp due to glitching/“shooting through walls/corners”/models not lining up properly (correct me if I am wrong).
I never did like people proning in the victory grass, or abusing hitboxes in any game, including cod and bf (thank god for bc2).

Maybe add some difficulties to proning, for instance a delay to prone and a delay to get up back again, and/or do less damage when your proning… But I think it would be nice to have proning though if not leaning.
Much better localized hit sounds are needed. Lean and prone no not for this game.
Sure, if it took 10 seconds to prone, during which you could not shoot (or see), I would be all for it.

I would actually prefer to not have lean or prone in the game. It doesn’t really add anything but camping.
I’d like some more faster paced oriented movement techniques over lean and prone. I don’t really see them improving this particular game where they might have not been as bad in others.
