Lol, idk… I just recently started a new job so I haven’t got much time lately. A perfect working example would be the existing crosshairs. There are a few to choose from, and just make the code for the cursors resemble the code for the crosshairs logically. Hopefully it may help to just take a look at how the crosshairs are done, since they use menu’s as well, and it is exactly what you want to do with the cursor.

Right now you are probably at a state where in your sourcecode you would love to easily undo any changes with the click of a button if you decided to just give up the cursors
, so another useful tip would be to use some type of cvs or subversion repository to track your source code, even for future purposes. If you are interested in a cvs or subversion system, you can get free hosting at websites like SourceForge or FreeByte. Keep in mind it’s all open source if you take this route.
