Custom Crosshair Thread
@WolfDesigns heres Xyfurions tutorial:
you would need @scrub_lord 's crosshair file though. Or recreate it with paint/photoshop/gimp etc
thanks
So,i tried both of these JO 2 crosshairs,and they’re surprisingly good in dirty bomb.
I think i’m gonna keep those,Thank you @yenku @Soerbert
Am I the only one around here, who think 32x32 is way too small?
I’ve tried to create a - - shaped one (it helps keeping the right height for headshots) but it is too small.
I’d say even let us use HD pictures, so I can create a UI which looks like I’m driving a plane or other fun stuff.
Example:
Is it possible to overlap a custom crosshair with an in-game crosshair ? Like, having the custom crosshair instead of the dot, but keeping everything around.
In options menu, you have the option to change two parts of the crosshair, the static part and the dynamic part. The static part is the dot, and it’s where you select the custom crosshair, and the dynamic part is everything around the dot that jumps around in-game. When you have the custom crosshair selected in the static option then you can still select a dynamic option and it will work in-game.
The crosshair I currently use:
That crosshair at rest(I have the sides intentionally more opaque than the corners for visibility, but the dynamic spread markers don’t perfectly line up because of transparencies anyways, so meh):
The only issue is that hit markers overlap with the dynamic crosshair, but that’s not something I can fix besides modifying the size of hit markers or disabling them;
A crosshair someone else wanted, but functional:
The crosshair I currently use went through several phases of modification until I got it to be both highly visible and functional, let alone clean and non-distracting. The following are some of those ideas that I scrapped:
If you see one you like, feel free to recreate it.
@Nibbles02 You can see something with that green color ? I have trouble to see it.
By the way, a bit off topic, do you need me to change your pseudo ?

I’ve always used green because with 255 opacity, it’s one of the most contrasting colors for the color palette that the game uses, with the exception of a couple parts of the map, like the green market section of Bridge where the EV is, but even then the bright green contrasts the dark green actually used in the game. Then again, I do have good eyesight so that may be a contributing factor.
I tried red, purple, burgundy, and blue, but they all had specific maps where they became harder to see in too many scenarios to be useful, with the least useful color being yellow for obvious reasons.
As for my alias, sure. The username and several variations were apparently taken on Warchest but not on Nexon.
I use a flashy pink color for my crosshair. I’m not really fond of pink, but it’s the best I color found so far in order to have a permanently visible crosshair.
EDIT : PRESTO !
I think so. You can have the static crosshair as the custom one, and have the moving one remain as is.
Got some crosshairs right here. Some are me messing around though.
Fuck my pink circle, I found my new crosshair !
