It doesn’t look like hospital but maybe some normal house would do. Hospitals are designed lot differently, even in 1940’s.

With the red cross and the “Krankenhaus” sign, it clearly is a hospital.
And I don’t think it’s the idea to make a perfect copy of a hospital in the 1940’s , but rather a horror like hospital based on imagination.

Yeah but without the sign and cross it doesn’t look like hospital at all. At least here we don’t have huge crosses on our hospital building’s roof, so that is why it doesn’t look like a hospital to me. Mostly because hospitals here are more wide than height and are not just 4 walls put together.

Don’t get me wrong, it’s a nice looking house.
