[COMPLETE] SCHEDULED MAINTENANCE - JUNE 24TH, 2015

(Ardez1) #21

I have so many friends that want to play but can’t because of this crap.
Well they are missing out. The memory leak only really happens after several matches. A quick restart and you can get back into the match. :/
I have to politely disagree with you, for me takes 10 min max and the game is already in a rly bad shape.
Based on personal PC specs and your in game settings. If you are playing on High it will happen sooner. I am running a low resource config personally.

I usually don’t see the problem until 2-3 hours in.

AMD Phenom II 4.2GHz Hex
g.skill 16GB (4x 4GB) DDR3 RAM
GTX 660 ti
SSD: OCZ Vertex 4 128GB SATA III
HDD: Western Digital Blue WD10EALX-089BA0 7200RPM 1TB SATA 6.0GB/S

Care to share what config you are using?

M4A1 is the best tho, it’s a laser beam bud. Also unless you got that gold card from a case, tradeups are clear that it’s a gamble as to what loadout you get. If you can’t handle not getting what you want, then gambling isn’t for you
675.4mb … HOTFIX BRUH !

I would rather wait 2-3 weeks n get a proper patch, rather than these HUGE SIZED HOTFIXES !
Complaining about game updates is stupid

what’s all this whining about size of update ?
you ain’t got 5 minutes ?

(Rast Brattigan) #30

A Fairly big update for something so simple. I feel sorry for people who can’t get good net.

This is because of the method that SD uses to perform updates. Rather than modify existing game files they simply replace them. It is a cleaner method for performing updates but at the expense of bandwidth.

Yep, this issue is really annoying. With this even with a stable fps rate, you still have a “laggy” game time to time. It’s not fluid like the first second you start a game.
What concerning me the most is an optimisation regarding fps issue and the memory leak or what ever it is. I got already lots of pleasure playing this game but with these fix… GOD it would be nice.

Update fixed my performace problems, i would say that game is smooth 98% of the time for me, HUGE improvement

(Ardez1) #36

Fantastic to hear.

(Daergar) #37

Uhm. Anyone else having trouble getting DB to update? Restarted. Verified files. Nothing?

(Ardez1) #38

Is your steam client up to date as well?

Yup. EU in case that matters, saw someone wonder about Asia.

First time a game (that needs it) doesn’t auto-update on steam start-up.

Weird. And verifying game cache should work to manual update… Definitely strange.
