Competition is so broken

I really, really wish they’d put more focus into making matchmaking a thing that people would want to do. As I said in a thread a week or so ago, there needs to be incentives to increase the player pool and lessen queue times - even if that starts slowly and it’s just a bunch of gold/silver players learning how to play as a team. There’s currently no reason to play in MM over a pub for the average player.

Doesn’t need to be anything drastic either, some matchmaking-exclusive cosmetic changes, some cases with no lead drops, etc etc.

I think I’m Gold4 or maybe even Gold3 now. I tend to play with players from the same level and competitive ranks though, maybe that’s why it’s easier?
Also, stupid question but are you ticking to play all maps or only selecting certain ones when searching for a match?

Maybe I’m being optimistic here but I think with time all the new players will eventually level up and rank up and there will be less skill/level/rank gaps within the teams looking for a match, which should lower the search time.

I think it might be easier because of that yeah :slight_smile: We have some cobalts in team too.
And lol yes, I’m searching for all the maps ^^
Hopefully they level up fast!
