I won’t buy this game if it doesn’t let me choose a proper beard. I mean, srsly… I want a manly character, not a wimpy, clean-shaven girl

As with most things, time. Though in this case, with a dose of horrible complexity.
If there isn’t a commanding mustache in it, it ain’t worth buying!!111!! (Also, check that link for hilarity.)
You got fooled if the person intended to trick you, you got misinformed if they were wrong without knowing it, you get fouled if in football someone tackles you too hard.
This is the silliest post. You are silly. One is art the other is programming.
Pease.

Both took time and monies tho, something a game maker dont have an infinity of… and if you think that making a bad gameplay with many upgrades wont bring you more player (ie: buyers) than a good gameplay with no upgrade/stats/barbie stuff in the gaming world nowadays you are the silly one here IMO
Plus you totally missed the fact that I was talking bout the people’s attitude about this, and not about the actual thing as everyone know my position on the subject…
But yes, this mustache is more important anyway! go brink go…
Peace
Don’t forget about fowled - past tense and past participle of fowl. You’re fowled if you’re a bird which has been hunted or kept for food (which incidentally is a remarkably accurate description of certain members of this forum :D).

awww, Apples is upset that the game might not be 110% the game he wants to play
welcome to real life, not Planet Apples. Something like facial hair for customization is a far more realistic and reasonable option to ask for than a majority of the “good gameplay” aka “total revisions of the game” options you have requested.
How come a bank weapon (as exemple) is harder/longer to do than 7 sets of mustaches for 3 bodytypes with different color? I dont see anything less reasonable than the other here.
Plus I already know that the game wont be 100% like I want, its not like I make it, but getting so enthusiastic about a mustache when you cant get barely arsed to look what is (possibly, its all a matter of taste) wrong with the gameplay is just astonishing to me…
Oh and BTW when I finally release my walking iPad, it’ll be planet apples!
peace
blam, now that almost all SD league had jumped on the bandwagon I quit posting on this thread cuz it’ll be stuck as usual. HF growind some epic mustaches!
Remember people this thread is about awesome facial hair and the question of why SD hasn’t shown any epic-ness off…Not what is or is more efficient or why SD should be doing this or that.
However, what is a weapon bank?
After that though, more epic facial hair!

And of course, you’re not bad-ass enough unless you rock facial hair like this video game character who can throw a cigar in slow motion and make it look bad-ass:
Or his son:

Anyways…all the cool people have them, let’s hope Brink characters have them too!
However, what is a weapon bank?
A weapon bank is just a selection of weapons. You push a key or use scroll wheel and access the weapon you want. The big fuss over this for Brink is that grenades have a dedicated button in Brink (like bad company 2) - you can’t hit a key to pre-select them. A problem was that players wanted to be able to have the nade in their hand, and throw/cook it when they want to, instead of a dedicated button, where once you hit the button, the nade starts cooking.
“cooking” nades refers to timing. In Brink, grenades have a timer before they explode, say 5 sec. so when you “cook” a nade, you would hold it for like 3 or so seconds, and then throw it so it explodes immediately when it hits the target.

Yeah I used to play America’s Army which featured cooking nades. I had just never heard the term weapon bank before…I have a long list of FPS games under my belt and have never heard it lol…
But couldn’t you just hole the dedicated button down for cooking?
Thanks as always H0RSE!

The problem people had with this, was that it would start cooking immediately - you couldn’t equip, hide behind awll, run around, etc, and then cook when ready, and people also thought that having a dedicated nade button would interupt with movement with WASD controls. In a weapon bank, you would select grenade, and cook with mouse 1 - for dedicated nade, you would cook with the dedicated nade button (not mouse 1) and people were saying you would have to use a finger to press it that you would need for moving.
Sounds like that would result in some awesome good old fashioned America’s Army nade spamming to me, lol…
I want my character to have a moustache that can hold weapons.
Game of the century.
Medic mustache anyone?
