You dislike shotguns so you say theyre shit and at the same time dont have the guts and/or the brain to get that your telling is as subjective as my dislike of 2/3 of Stokers Weapons.

To state it once again because i doubt that you’ll get it. All weapons are good and can perform very well in the right hands. Naturally weapons shine in different situations a little more or less but a skilled player can make the best use of the weapon and cover the bad side of it with his skill. Therefor there is no best or worse weapon because someone out there will still ravage you with that weapon you call the worst while yourself using your self-claimed best weapon.

I think shotguns are the shit of this game because they are too easy to use most people can pick them up and do better than they do with any other weapon. This is nothing subjective. Especially with the mercs shotguns are on. I dislike them cause they are too easy to use and do well with which is good for newbies but starts being really annoyinh when more experienced players starts abusing the shit out of them just to get free kills. Shotguns take away all the fun and Im not the only one to think that. Shotguns being easy to pick up weapon arent a subjective fact at all. There might ome exceptions as always but generally most people will do better with it than they would with other weapons who actually requires real aim and tracking. Thats why shotgun are shit, not shit in the sense “they are useless and cant kill anyone”.

Starting with “I think” and then trying to point out that its nothing subjective, makes it hard for me to think that you actually know the meaning of subjective.

I know that newbies tend to perform well with shotguns and theyre overall strong in close-> medium range fights depending on the shotgun. However, any more range than that is just lost against half-way skilled players.

However, if youre vigilant on your feet you can make the enemy needing aim even with shotguns, if you dont do that, a fast jump based shooter like dirty bomb might be the wrong thing for you.

PS:I tend to not have much issues fighting anyone who uses a shotgun even in close combat with me playing with the BR/M4/Crotzni or even the Dreiss. Not to mention youre free to fall back a little during the fight to decrease the shotgun damage taken.

Yeah too bad they gave it to merc like proxy and aura huh ? like if getting close was a problem in that game with small maps.
Sorry but the classic " i can hold my ground against a shotgun" argument doesnt have any value.

Well, heres the problem that was mentioned a lot of time already (as sad as it is): about 80-90% of the people (and the big population of nubz and smurfs/rerolled accounts cause of bans) dont even know about this forum, and will just have proxy in their squad cause she has 90HP and decent speed unlike poor Kira, who is slightly slower now. She is also resembling Tracer a bit in terms of cocky brit attitude, so yeah. (in general, the voice acting in this game is excellent and still my favourite) I hate to say it, but there is just a lot of reasons for a random punk to take her.

guys, i can tell you already that, if you will play longer in db you will regret that proxy won, she is fun to play idk once in month for lolz, but she is just bad and most of good players are playing mainly stoker, skybro, fletcher, bushwhacker and sawboner

Yup. I was just reading through it and I have no clue how some of the people in this thread can get so immature about a dumb contest/event. It’s skins for characters…not life and death. If anybody finds themselves having anything other than fun with this you should probably take a step back. It’s one thing to be a bit competitive and have a good time with it and even a little good natured trash talking if you want. But some of the comments here are way over the line and some people need to get a better perspective and cool it.

So yeah, closing.
