xdc, I don’t see your point. Game development goes much further than just game engine development. It’s almost like you are saying companies like Boeing and Airbus have an easy time building airplanes because their engines are from Rolls-Royce. In the end, the engine (in both airplanes and games) is just a small (but vital) part of the end product. In both development processes, parts from other manufacturers are used in combination with custom made parts to develop an end product.

It was very frustrating! Haha… Shiv would literately appear out of no where and the worst part is I didnt get hit feedback until it was almost to late.

The feedback from the first hit didnt register until the second and killing blow was already on its way…

Plus the bouncing off the walls and seemingly taking no damage was crazy… I did not understand where my bullets went and then when you get in close there is no chance…

It almost reminded me of COD MW2 and the Pistol Knife lunge kill… I actually enjoyed doing that in COD but the TTK was faster in COD so you could pop them when they lunge…

I also wonder if proxys Bat might have been taking some of my bullets meant for the head?

not an easy time, just an easier one. Why start from scratch when you can, like you said, use parts? Why reinvent the wheel? Developers who use game engines, undoubtly, have had a lot of work and time cut out from them. SD got to start on the game immeditantly when they got u3e. Which was obviously, a smart move to save time, and resources.

The shooting, performance and spam makes me want to punch a baby!!!

Also playing Objective mode with a full server is infuriating… There is no reason to play objective! It is all just spam…

Something needs to be done about the health stations. If you are taking damage it shouldn’t heal you. 3s cool off or something before healing can resume :confused:

I havent seen a single person on since Sunday’s gather… Hope the player retention patch is coming soon…

If this patch coming up is just match making with no other balance or ability tweaks we will be in the same boat again… Actually even with these chances we will be in the same boat because maps blow… Match Making 5v5 might solve some of this but uninteresting and broke objectives will still hurt the game.

Are we going to start 2015 out with a bang?

Side Note: I really do not see how skins will play into this game… We got founders skills… Ooooooooo Big deal… When you are in a fire fight how often are you like oh wow they have the “Flame Nader” haha! The only way I can see it being valuable is for Esport and the people watching… They are really the only ones that are going to notice… This isnt like LOL where everyone gets 300 FPS and you just have to click the screen and time heal bars…

This is going to be a long 3 weeks until the next patch… :frowning:

And how often in CS:GO (or even Tribes for that matter) do you really think about your opponents skin? Hardy ever unless you’re spectating him/her. Unless different stats per skin is available it will always just be a fun feature.

EDIT: Gun skin that is.
