Really not impressed with the global revive, even at 5s and minimal health. Add to that the ammo crates and auto health regen and ability for everyone to do everything really leaves us with a classless setup.

Cynic in me thinks this is a design decision driven by the need to sell a myriad of mercs rather than a well thought through addition to a class based team shooter.

As ever will give it a go…

That kind of the whole point, phasing out of classes and switching to a merc based system instead.

Although you won’t have to buy mercs, you unlock them through playing the game, instead the money comes from secondary sources on things like skins and audio packs.

I’d like to know this too, but the speed difference seems to be about 8%, which generally works out as decreasing time from spawn to objective for attackers by about two seconds and for defenders by about a second.

Seriously - delete canary wharf/underground.

Running down a 50ft wide tunnel = awful. Imagine Operation Metro from battlefield but with only 1 route, then make it 10 times worse and you are almost close to being as bad/linear as Underground.

underground is indeed atrocious. The gunplay is feeling much nicer now which is great but god damn the maps are baddddddddddd. Every map needs to get some whitechapel treatment; more routes, more wide spaces etc. Why does every map only have 1 objective at a time aswell surely if there were 2 objectivess that needed to be done in any order it would stop this meat grind feeling. Teams would be splitting up and then rotating to counter a push rather than creating 5 man defenses vs 5 man offenses into a meat grind. (No the ‘secondary objectives’ [lolol] don’t count). There’s just zero freedom in this game you spawn and you just don;t have a choice underground is a literally just a f**cking tube lol.

Not to be a negative nancy tho - good patch, game feels much nicer :slight_smile:

Hit indicator size still seems to be broken.
Its also annoying that there still seems to be no audio indicator that you have run out of bullets.

there is…

those poses, especially skyhammer and nader. looks like those two should be switched around.

Edit;
Mouse movement feels…debatable

Love, long jump except for the added delay between the jump and going into sprint. I feel there shouldn’t be any delay.

Pls add a separate HUD Alpha that doesn’t affect the opacity of the crosshair.

The monetisation strategy for DB has changed significantly, which we hope to give you all more news about shortly. It’s been an area of a huge amount of work over the last few months. Your point about “classless” has a degree of merit though, as we’ve been focusing more on specific roles and play types for Mercs rather than the traditional class structure.

I did expect Help-Up to be quite controversial… it was a hot topic on the dev team when it was first introduced, but most have come around I think! As with everything it’s still highly subject to tuning, so after a while to get used to it do let us know what you think.

That should read ‘released’ maps, as in maps that are arted up and have been released to the beta (i.e. maps other than block-outs like Dome, Dockyard etc)

@Shifty: I don’t believe that the final list has been nailed down, those are simply the maps that are available to the public atm.

There are a few other pretty specific quesitons here that I’m going to try and get answered today.

Help up is fine… Just wish the icon for it was a little smaller… I also hope that we can see the back of “classes” eventually… BE FREE DESIGNERS! DESIGN US DA BESTUS THINGS!

new record for me, ragequit after 1 map…
togglemusic is disabled…
added new stupid sound with the hitsound… it sounds really bad and not satisfying, after 10 years of playing with only hitsounds, first time i toggled it off…blahh…
aiming feels horrible, cant point anything specific but feels bad
5sec revive for everyone…

my hopes for this game is almost done, just another random nexon game with cash shop

As the game is being published through multiple publishing partners, each with their own echosystems, the likelihood of this happening is small.
