Agreed, it works a long times with some limits, and finaly someone talk about some real problems un public, now what ? what we can change to this ? this is what I mean in the first time. I’m agree with the NDA, cause the game is far from release, I’m not saying “yeah let’s go all streaming on Utube”

There is enough stuff in xt that really hurts Dr.Loosers “review”.

And it doesn’t matter if he cares or not, he signed the NDA and it clearly says there what you are allowed to do and what not. If SD doesn’t take any consequences, why should I care about the NDA?

some problems of xT require a lot of time.
like Good maps, (Great maps require even more time)
like Good Performance.

other problems require difficult desisions-making, when concept of the game struggles some key gameplay features.
like Iron sight neсessity dictates to break hip-fire feel.
like classless objects, which take a great deal of exitement from a game but is on paper more noob-friendly
like wanting a 10-minutes maps ends up in cutting parts, that were pretty much best parts most of the times.
like making extremely diverse mercs (hp speed and weapon), which leads to loss of balance. srsly. we can play fair balanced matches because we play this game for more than a year! and because we can adapt our playstyle. but what happened to cc guys? and what will happen to other new comers?

And as important as Maps+Performance are. I am not worried much about those - they just need time. I have no doubts that SD will make awesome maps.

But the balance and wierdness of the current game-play is what worries me the most.

Lot of worries to !
And i’m not convince about the “futur” good maps, for the moment 90% of the level design attempts sounds like a fail.

Problem is they keep the ground layouts which don’t benefit from what they have learned. New modifications are good, but cannot fix a broken map

I have a couple things for the latest update:

  • HUD elements (waypoint markers) blocking view
  • Characters are too small?
  • Character movements are too fast. With the previous point it’s hard to aim (at least for me)
  • When planting the charge you can’t quickly switch to your weapon and the character is “locked” somehow. It’s very frustrating when you see enemy coming around the corner your dead :s (Canary Wharf first objective left door from attack side)
  • Hack objectives are too slow and some are too close to the defending team? (Camden)

No and no. Not at all. Play the game and aiming will come. Making larger characters and slowing movements would turn this game into an other crappy COD like game.

Cmon, having trouble aiming should be source of motivation for a game. It means you have room for improvement. What would you like ? A game where everything is easy from the begining ? COD is here for you.

Sorry to sound brutal but I don’t understand why people are asking to make the game easier when they can’t hit.

I agree on the other points.

I find characters to small to, even with a decent FOV and sometimes with the colors I can’t even see the small body types on some textures around 10m … theyre is something weird with the FOV on this game, on ETQW even with a 110 FOV the characters looks bigger than in DB with 90.
I Like actual small hit boxes, that make dogging more efficient and you need a bit more concentration to aim, But theyre is something who reallly broke my eyes playing this game, it’s really hard to stay a long time playing. Something need to be done if you wants ppl playing a long time.

And for the speed it’s perfect ! if you slow down the game then I’m definitively off !

Well imo it’s not about size but more about colors. Especially on trainyard sometimes it’s hard to see the enemies cause they have the same colors than the background.

Agree, player models should contrast more against the environment, I also think team differentiation could be improved a bit more. If they are going to introduce more skins and models it’ll become increasingly difficult to see which team a person belongs to.

or maybe it’s just me after all those years with brightskins in quake. :slight_smile:

Pick skins for both sides with same color scheme each side, as in sports home and foreign?

Well esport matches wont have this problem since we get team uniforms delivered right ? :wink:

Personally I like it, there is not too much and it brings some fun to the mines, airstrikes and grenade launchers

Im not aware of that PEGI or USK is testing F2P games, are they?. I remember one heavy gore rpg, which you can play (at least some time ago).
With the current trend to regulate F2P games stronger, could happen that it gets an 18+ rating, but I think this isnt an Issue at all. I think publishing a game over the internet still hasnt that much of restrictions than you have on the regular market.

I hope the game will ship multilanguage (french, english, german, russian, spanish etc.) all in one, its just about swapping some text files. Pls dont go the EA-Origin way. I think its also the easiest way to ship the game, so you have the same version in NA and Europe.
