Spread the gospel. Currently I have about 450K credits, nothing useful to buy and yet 94 hours of credit boosts from level up cases. 
Oh well, first world problem I suppose.

Lol yea I have around 320k credits that I keep buying cases with while waiting for the new crafting system and/or price reductions. Currently the crafting system is not worth using (for me).
Wtf am I supposed to do with fucking 320,000 credits

I am still confused, Are we not having the Dickens Skins loadout cards anymore? When is a christmas without loadout card skins? and what are we going to do with out Credits? I saved up my credits escpecially for this event.

What I don’t understand is they said their art team was busy with other things. Like ok, fine whatever. Makes sense. So why can’t you just re-release the Christmas skins that a large portion of people never even got the chance to receive because they started playing after that event? Or release gen 2 of those skins? How hard is that really?
It sounds like they sat around a table and went:
“Screw it. We don’t want to do an event. Let’s release 4 trinkets and call it a Christmas event. We’ll make it a meme.”

Do devs even know how to make money? Because skins and cosmetics in f2p games are what makes money.
If I have to play hours and hours and hours daily to get a trinket, I simply wont. Not because I dont want to, but because there is no reason to. I have some trinkets, all very nice and I can only use one. So why would I try to get more.
Game desperately needs new skins. When new content comes so slow as here, the only way for it to not be so dull is to make new skins and make them relatively worth obtaining.
Dirty Bomb never made skins worth getting. Not in cases, not in events, not by regular play. Thats where it fails miserably. So I hoped for an event for christmas. But I dont even get that now Even after a fail of a last christmas

What about opening a market of user generated trinkets and skins like they have on some other games? SD and the creators would share the benefit. Players would enjoy the new content

That’s why they have mostly Casual players. They get in game to finish jobs, at the end they buy their mercs. I personally can’t bash on them because I am a casual player myself but I used to be a normal player playing beyond jobs and that’s because they don’t release any content when it’s hyped up. I would rather play other games that have contents on Holidays. In my opinion, they are doing a bad job at keeping their players stable in this game. Back then they had content after content atleast skin wise. Now, game has nothing to offer. Just like Tribes Ascend.

What if “busy with other things” means they actually work on some kind of surprise?
I know yeah I am skeptical too but hoping for something doesn’t hurt either

AFAIR the event skins were announced as “one time only” in order to encourage players to buy cases. So if SD reuses the skins they probably upset people who actually spent real money last year (not me). Even more so if this year’s skins are gen 2.
So they at least would have to make recolored Christmas skins, which would mean more work for the artist department.

And speaking of gen 2, COUGH* we still got no way to upgrade our gen 1 special edition to gen 2, which sucks and, as I said, could have made a cool present . . .

Yes, this one’s been puzzling since day 1 of gen 2 and heavily discussed back then. Add a simple “Upgrade” UI (no graphics artists needed), maybe even ask for a small amount of fragments and credits, and everyone would have been happy. Especially those who payed money for their special loadouts, as they would have seen that their investment was not wasted. While right now they can gloat over their Dickens pineapple juggler…
Though I can’t really complain. Got a Dickens KE12 proxy which apart from “pineapple juggler” also has the “try hard” perk. After suicide repairing the EV a couple of times you can go wild as 120 HP combat proxy looking like a Christmas elf and irritate the crap out of people who haven’t been around since gen 1.

Stream today said that the update will come this week (it’s just waiting for QA testing approval). Also it was said that private matches are likely coming back in it but ranked season 2 won’t be coming at least till beginning of next year.
