When you said,“If developers never made new engines then we wouldn’t be playing any games,” it made it sound as though you were talking about the entire game engine, not specifically the anticheat engine. Lots of games are (and will continue to be) made with little or no anticheat system(for a variety of reasons) and this has always been the case (and likely always will be). So it seems like you’re now saying without super duper extraordinary anticheat engines we’d have no games at all then? That what it sounds like, which to me seems the more absurd idea.
Perhaps we’ve just misunderstood each other. I would like to think that’s the case, since otherwise you just seem to be trying to start some sort of argument, which seems counterproductive.
