Why the hell should we also follow twitter?. we are already on the offical forum. why cant they put that announcement here too…

Because unlike the forums it gets updated as soon as possible. It’s easier to tweet stuff than making a whole post about it. And because your test will probably last a couple of hours, there’s no need to make a forum post about it because it will just confuse people.

Forums are delayed communication. By the time you post your message, a user might not see it until tomorrow.

They could literally just CTRL-C, CTRL-V and I’d be happy.

That’s not that hard and takes an extra minute at Max.

While this is true, I see nothing that prevents them from announce the test 1 day before it starts instead tweeting “look, we started a test right now”.

Also, if they would include the exact timeframe in the post, anyone who has a watch would know that the test is already over if they see the post late. The current situation causes more confusion imo
