If I were to post a video of capping/completing an objective whilst holding off a team (which I have footage of), the response i would inevitably get is, “you were playing with noobs, play some real players”, which is why I didn’t bother using any of it.

So if I then joined a clan, and had a 5v5 scrim, trying to hold off the team whilst capping an objective…well it wouldn’t happen would it? because any competent 5 man team isn’t going to allow it, and any team that does would be called incompetent and i would get the same response again.

You see my point?

Is there any way that i could have posted a video that wouldn’t get criticised for playing with mediocre players, unless i posted a close scrim game - which would be an entirely different video altogether? because I don’t see that there is.

Why is this argument even taking place? It’s a frag movie, and a frag movie consists of shock horror FRAGS! Your preference in video has nothing to do with this, how you think the game should be played has nothing to do with this. RtCW, W:ET, ETQW… all objective based games, all had a ton of frag movies created for them without anyone crying “THAT’S NOT HOW IT’S MEANT TO BE PLAYED!!”. Did you ever see Objective Videos for those games? No… because it’s boring as ****. If you think otherwise, please point me towards a video of that sort from any of those games.

In the meantime… i’ll link you to epic frag movies for RtCW, W:ET(that one’s especially epic) and ETQW. All of those games had a large movie following and were popular, and if demo recording for Brink comes back (And we get 1st person and the community stays at a relative size), then you’ll see plenty more from Brink in the future… especially from good league matches.

If you don’t like the movie fair enough, but stop trying to write off the medium as something no one cares about.

Your point seems to be that frag videos are silly no matter what they contain, and I agree with you wholeheartedly. I’m glad we could reach an agreement in this topic.
