Brink the game is real!

The theory of global warming isn’t based on statistics though. The temperature record confirms it but that’s not the evidence that’s going for it. The evidence are the models that have already proven themselves. The only uncertainty factor is how much humans will emit in the this century, that’s why scientists have created four rough scenario’s in how this will play out, and currently we’re leaning pretty close to the worst case scenario.

I was more talking about mathematical uncertainty, i.e. everytime you make any measure or estimate any parameters of your model you have a certain degree of uncertainty, this is particulary true with the climate models as they are very complex and have many parameters.

Parameters are estimated either by maximum of likelihood (inferential) or by bayesian approach, doing this you have uncertainty at every level, and thats what is giving me headache atm :stuck_out_tongue:

Does anybody remember a series that the History channel used to play about these mega-building projects. None of them were really built. They all had the feeling of Brink’s Ark-itecture.

You want a government conspiracy on global warming? You got a conspiracy on global warming.

The US diplomatic cables reveal how the US seeks dirt on nations opposed to its approach to tackling global warming; how financial and other aid is used by countries to gain political backing; how distrust, broken promises and creative accounting dog negotiations; and how the US mounted a secret global diplomatic offensive to overwhelm opposition to the controversial “Copenhagen accord”, the unofficial document that emerged from the ruins of the Copenhagen climate change summit in 2009.

hardly anything in Universe have static nature in long-tern perspective.
instead almost anything was periodic/cyclic/harmonic nature.
so global warming will combined with global ice age and again and again, in [almost endless]dance/game of cold/heat, black/white, good/evil things change each other until next one Big Bang will happen.
or something/someone else.
