Yes hopefully we all watched the videos, but half a clip in a downed enemy is a bit much. I agree the medics should have time to make it to the downed player. But arent you supposed to stick by your team so they dont have to run a country mile to get to you? Small tweeks is all it needs to perfect it. But there will still be complainers. Its not game breaking but a little fix would be nice.
Brink ps3... Wow what a disappointment..

The gameplay is just ridiculous…

The majority of reviews are positive. Not game-changing gushing, but averaging 8/10 across the board. And these are all reviews pre-patch.
Its the opposite for me…
I was expecting MEH/Average game, but what I have been playing is amazing, LOVING IT!
The gameplay is fantastic and a breath of fresh air in a stale online FPS genre imo.
Oh, wait, I do have one minor complaint: The shadows are REALLY dark on the character creation screen. It’s a little weird.
have you considered you’ll maybe get a patch to fix this crap once psn is back online?
i guess not.
is patience some kind of a foreign word nowadays? geez.

You can get patches with PSN down. When I put the game in it asked me to down load the day one update.
its like some kid buying MAG then complaining to the developers of MAG because PSN is down
i mean like seriously, if you didnt know this was a multiplayer focused game before buying it, its your fault
Other then lag issues and texture pop up (Which should be getting a patch soon) this game is amazing on the 360. I can only imagine how good it is on PC.
So is the way you structured your post.
Wanting 60 fps and nice eye candy on PS3 is being a bit unrealistic methinks.
MW2 was a pretty game with 60 FPS
I wish more games could hit at least that mark. Its the main reason its hard for people to switch from COD to other games, the controls are way too loose at lower framerates compared to how tight they are in COD. Its the one main thing I can give that series over all is control.
True. But you got to be on top of them, and thats usually where the hornets nest is.
I played for a couple hours on my PS3. Of course, it would’ve been better if I could play with other players, because for now I’m a bit stuck on the
SPOILER ALERT
missile launch at the ark
END SPOILER ALERT
I’ve been playing as soldier, but I can’t make the operative hack. I tried operative but I just can’t get enough cover from the AI. Kind of frustrating, but you can’t expect bots to be great.
As far as gameplay, it’s all went smoothly for me so far. The smart system works well. Aiming is fine ADS and hipfiring. Only complaint about gameplay is that I often get the wrong guy when I’m trying to resupply ammo in the middle of a heavy firefight. It’d be nice if there were 2 players close together it would automatically choose the one with lower HP. Especially since the players are moving around, I have wasted supplies on the wrong guy plenty of times.
I like the campaign so far. I like the art style. I like the guns. I really don’t have any bad complaints right now. Really looking forward to PSN coming back up though. For sure.
Hide behind the walls. You can get pretty far from the hack-box as an Operative.
After playing for a while longer, I have noticed a little bit of texture pop-in, and I also noticed one thing that kinda got on my nerves a lot: The Barnett acts weird if you try to sight out while the bolt is being cycled. It actually is the only reason I do not have any real desire to use the Barnett. Well, that and a 30-round drum mag on the Rokstedi.

I tried that. The little room behind, I still have 3 bars, but my teammates aren’t holding back the other team. They come and start un-doing my hack and I have to kill them, re-link, and try to hide again. As I said, it’s rough since they can’t push back the resistance. After 3 tries I gave up for the night, I’ll try again tomorrow.
All this could be solved by playing online. So… incoming written-in-blood letters to Sony.
If it makes you console guys feel any better, the PC version is pretty much the same. I know, it came as a shock to me too! Well, probably not so much since I’m not a subscriber to the delusion that platform defines quality. Although in this case I kind of wish it did.
