Just as much aggro comes from the ‘lovers’ (?) telling the ‘haters’ their opinions are wrong. There’s arseholes in both parties, but it usually takes someone to ignite the situation in the 1st place. It’s nice you have a place to call your own, but calling anyone that doesn’t go there a hater or ‘not a true fan’ is what I’d call an arsehole statement in itself.

Wow, that just took my ENTIRE post out of context. That’s not what I said at all.
I think I might be giving RIF some bad rep by my back-pedalling here, so I’ll drop the whole “haters” thing. But anyone is welcome there. It has nothing to do with being a “true fan” or not. Its just a place where ppl who enjoy Brink can get their conversation on.
I like it because everyone there so far has been good to talk to.
Just to clarify since I’m running the site. Anyone and everyone is welcome. There’s no harsh moderation for either side of an issue. You’re welcome to come tear Brink a new one. There’s even a chat room your free to go to and have it out if regular old forum pvp isn’t good enough for you.
We all agree there’s things that need fixing - body types, highlighting/buffing/rez, spread, weapons, universal f key, 1st person spectating, demo record, etc. I’ve read all the threads about these issues here and can’t help but agree that many of these changes would be good for the game.
I mainly made the site as an easier way for players to connect with one another. In these SD forums things just get jumbled and mixed up. For example, the Community Night, I need PS3 Friends, etc. threads jump all over the place and fall off the first page. I felt that something both more informal (looser moderation) and more structured (central location for user ID’s for each platform) would be useful. At the same time I’m easy to get a hold of in order to make changes to the site for the users and deal with any issues that arise (none so far even in the PC/Console beef thread). In addition, modifying my forums is way easier for me than any SD staff as they are hard at work on the game (hopefully).
Despite the site’s focus on Brink now, we do play other current games and are planning for games in the future so the site will change over time as its users needs change. This also means that even if you absolutely hate Brink, sold your copy, etc. there’s still a place for you on RIF and players for you to connect with.
Hopefully this serves to clear up any misconceptions that may have arisen. Or it could have been completely unnecessary, but either way…BUMP 
I complain about the haters when I try to make a positive post in this forum and half of the replies are from jackholes hijacking the thread to keep complaining about the same things over and over. That’s what a hater is, someone who just spews hate any chance they get.
For 360 - Organizing some Stopwatch games for tomorrow night and Superhappyfuntime is hosting a tournament weekend of August 13-14. More details to come.
Not like that at all. I’d urge everyone who wants to join to do so. Its a great place to form up game times and meet up with other gamers not just Brink gamers and plan out a time to play and chat. Especially if you have work, family, etc. You can set up a time to play and meet up on that night or day or weekend. Its more of a place to interface about all games and connect not just about Brink or certain platforms, but all platforms. Not everyone on there plays Brink. And eventually the feature page will be full of other games. This forum is specifically about Brink and giving feedback for it. So, you won’t see threads for gamers looking to meet up as much as feedback threads, and with so many platforms here, its hard to do it just from a Community Game Nights perspective since we are all in different worlds, timezones, and platforms. So you should at least check it out. Drop bye and give it a whorl. And all are welcome!

Just wanted to bump this thread for the sake of our community. We’re still chugging along if anyone is interested in checking us out you can see the link in my sig. Right now my game time is dominated by LoL and others time appears to be mostly taken up by BF3 and GoW3, but there’s still some occasional Brink action as well. Things are a bit console sided as far as the user base goes, but as you can see I gladly straddle the lines of console and PC gaming.
Right now I’m always looking for more people to play LoL with and I’m also in the Tribes and SMNC betas as well. As far as Xbox goes you can find me playing Brink and GoW3 from time to time, but like I said I’m a bit more on the PC side of things atm.
