SEEKING STAFF FOR BRINK, AS WELL AS COMPETITIVE TEAMS!
Imperium Gaming League™ is an online gaming organization dedicated to bringing players worldwide a medium to participate and compete in some of the most popular PC titles; titles ranging from BRINK, Counter-Strike: Source, Call of Duty, and League of Legends. IGL is becoming one of the most popular competitive gaming arenas For Players, By Players™, and we would love to extend an invitation to you to be a part of the growth of this ecstatic community!
With sponsorships and partnerships established and future deals being carefully designed for proposal, we have wonderful staff already creating the cornerstones for this league. However, many positions are available for optimistic and dedicated individuals to be a part of! Below are positions we are hiring for in BRINK:
BRINK DIVISION POSITIONS
* Dispute Administration Assistant (2)
Be at least 18 years of age or older, available on default match nights, and be able to create a cohesive working relationship with Head Admins of the division. Being able to act with discipline is also a big part of this position.
* Match Predictors
As a Match Predictor, you’ll be sought to create weekly predictions with others, have good writing skills, and be on top of player gossip and team news.
* Talented Shoutcasters
Have a very strong and mature voice, with the ability to shoutcast on a scheduled basis when required to do so. Ventrilo, and a quality microphone are required.
* Livestreamers
You must have a strong rig with a high upload speed. Here are the specifications required:
Upload Speed: 3 MBPS
CPU: Quad core processor minimum
RAM: 3GB+
GPU: Decent, GTX 260+ levelish, be able to play Black Ops in 1080P, high FPS.
Maybe those positions weren’t appealing to your taste, so how about joining our press department? Our press varies on the many types of different games out there, and you don’t even have to pick specifically one game to write about! Submit your articles, and get them published!
PRESS DEPARTMENT
* Director
With many new and exciting opportunities for our organization to promote media and establish a threshold in the news community, our ideal candidate for the Director position would be optimistic, mature, dedicated, and have a keen insight on managing and maintaining a healthy and solid Press Department. * Counter-Strike: Source, BRINK, LoL & General Gaming Writers
The above position(s) would be responsible for the day-to-day upkeep of the league’s news articles and general media contributions. It’s imperative in an organization where the majority of events happen on a daily basis, for our members to be updated frequently on game releases, PC news, and game-specific information. Each of these positions are filling fast, and we are only seeking a handful of individuals with tremendous attention-to-detail to take hold of these positions and work with the Press Director to generate and maintain news. If you have experience in this line of work, we would love to hear from you!
* YouTube Professional
Lastly, we are seeking an individual who is highly experienced in maintaining and updating our YouTube channel. With YouTube being one of the most constantly viewed sites on the internet, and with the amount of daily upkeep needed to be done with it, we would love to find someone to help lead the way and spearhead this project at the best of their ability. Resistance is Futile
Recently I decided to increase my community organizing efforts further both around Brink and any other games out there really. Let’s face it games are fun, but they’re always more fun with friends. So I’ve started a site with the goal of connecting players across different platforms and games with one another. Even within this forum it can be difficult for players to connect with one another largely due to the setup here. Hopefully these efforts will serve to not only increase the Brink community, but other communities as well.
We’ve had the site up and running for about a day with a test opening and have had quite a few people already making use of the forums. They’ve also provided valuable feedback that has made the site better.
We have seperated out sections for 360, PC, and PS3 users to connect to one another. We’re also working on strategy guides for each map both offense and defense so any contributions to that effort would be greatly appreciated. Also any feedback about the site as well.
This site is in no way shape or form intended to replace the SD forums. This place is great for getting actual feedback to the devs concerning the game as well as other things. Our forums are intended to be much more fun in nature and player rather than dev moderation should assist with that.
