Brink DLC what do you want?

Pirate battles. Instead of ships, another floating city. Where you can shoot yourself out of a cannon and onto the other city, called the “krA”. And Pirate accessories and a pirate voice pack. Like “Yar maties! I be plantin’ tha HE Chaaaaaarrrrrge” And extra firing yourself out of a cannon. And additional additional arks. Maybe jetpacks.

I’m hoping maps, guns and all that stuff that effect gameplay or add new thngs to gameplay are free.

But they can charge DLC for archetypes, custom gun skins, and other aestethic things.
They can make a huge profit from this like cough cough valve cough.

Another ark intresting idea dont know if thet would go for pirates. Maybe less Carribean and more modern like african pirates?

(dandragon) #25

What about a city or boats like in waterworld, maybe even mountains like the end.

(MF Maou) #26

I’m not sure I want for anything when it comes to BRINK, but new maps wouldn’t hurt anything.

(Jess Alon) #27

I want Brink DLC that blocks Brink DLC threads on here.

No I kid I kid. I’m too mentally exhausted… can’t answer it’s been done to death.

(system) #28

the most important thing: no 10-15 euros DLC with nearly no content like in CoD or Bulletstorm.

I doubt they would

(zerorawr) #30

I’d like free DLC and mod tools, but if this game is successful as I believe it will be then perhaps I’d pay for DLC if it isn’t over-priced cough all recent CoD DLCs cough

(dandragon) #31

I also wonder what other game types could benefit/copy from The smart system. Wall jump in silent hill? Or maybe a ninja warrior game?

(dandragon) #32

Yeah it seems to be a trend that some unnamed mainstream shooters sustain themselves on the hard earned money in your pocket while offering very little. I may have little to no money, but even i’m willing to scrounge up a few $$$ if it’s worth it.

Extended Campaign Missions (which, I guess given this game blurs the lines of multiplayer/single player) which would also extend the multiplayer missions. For comparison, The Da Vinci Disappearance DLC that Brotherhood released not too long ago. Gave some more optional missions to the story line and added to the plot. Would be neat to see Brink incorporate that, and given it can all be done multiplayer as well, it would add to both experiences. Win/win?

(Soljah) #34

more maps, more character custimazation, weapon - Brick.

(madness) #35

in Steam files there are listed 6 DLC’s for Brink…

  1. Ideally it would be free you know like it used to be. (Take a leaf out of Valves book and how long they gave TF2 free content)

  2. It should not divide the playerbase. I should not be prevented on playing on a server with my friends or clanmates because they bouight the DLC map pack and I did not. This will be terrible news in general but especially for big clans/teams/organisations.

  3. If you really want DLC then make it ‘cool’ but not required, Im talking about sweet looking armor, gun skins, tattoo’s, if people really want to splash out their cash then let them but players should not feel the need to buy items to be competitive.

(Herandar) #37

But then even more people will say that the game is a TF2 clone. :frowning:

(Seyu) #38

I think we can live with Brink being called a TF2 clone if that means free stuff.

(Herandar) #39

Sellout.

(Ragoo) #40

Atm I hope it’s not new guns/abilities cause the game seems to have enough of them. So if there is not any clear lack of something that makes the game one-dimensional I don’t want it to end up like TF2 with too much stuff.

I think new maps (since there are only 8 right now) and new character customization/gun skins would be great
