Breaking: Closed Beta launch pushed back to 15 October

(Ashog) #121

I demand a list of 10 people who earned most gold coins from the start of alpha.

Also their addresses please.

(attack) #122

is it me or last the molotov longer than an atillery?

(Kl3ppy) #123

think so too. The flames stay pretty long

(attack) #124

molotov is op at the moment.(ok you caan shoot it in the air :D,btw thats cool SD)
but the duration is too long in small corridors you can delay a push feeled 10 seconds

(BomBaKlaK) #125

So is it good for the 15th ? no more delay ?
Cause you said few days before the launch we were able to test it.

when can we expect the Nexon switch, and the beta release ?

(Mustang) #126

Monday afternoon is my guess.

(attack) #127

important would to know if its before or after cup.
maybe they include a patch before on which they trained since a month :stuck_out_tongue: to win the cup.

(TracyJackson) #128

Would the closed beta launch time be based on UK times (that is, BST) or will it be US time (PDT/EDT)?

(badman) #129

Exact timing for this stuff is being finalised this week - will have something to share with all of you soon.

(BomBaKlaK) #130

Ok ! Thx for the answer

Looking to populated NA servers hopefully.

We actually did a quick check the other day and about 40% of current alpha invites went to US players, bulk of the rest is EU. Not sure if its a case of the US invites trickling out slowly, so you never hit critical mass and that caused the substantially lower activity over there, or if its a result of the EU guys just being way more proactive and supportive of each other that caused them to have much greater activity.

It’ll be interesting to see if the same pattern follows in each community after the closed beta invites go out.

Yea, I’m not blaming anybody of anything, it’s just interesting to see the difference when the keys were relatively evenly split and to try to figure out what caused that difference.

(RasteRayzeR) #136

Americans are not that much fan of tea nor the Queen I guess …

(attack) #137

wasnt meant as offense :D.

(attack) #138

maybe because you arent play americans in the game  like in nearly every other shooter XD.(only kidding)

(Glottis-3D) #139

I can only say, that in quakelive they have the same situation: very small amount of american players. and considerable player base with cups/lans in EU.

(attack) #140

hmm the question is which games are actually the top games in america?
