Awesome stuff is awesome. Now looking for an image to post here…
Edit:

cool
So instead of AFTER finals it’s DURING finals.
I guess I’ll be a week behind everyone
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHH!
Why tho?
I thought there wasn’t even time to finish the 16 character + xp transaction thingy.
PS: The site with a news has a huge banner… with the old date.
This is probably some of the best news ever… well regarding games anyways… but i have one concern. i live in denmark. and i have checked the gamestop web page, and it still says 20th of may. anyone have the same problem?
Great news, not a bad way to start the week at all.
@ John_Doe
Retailers will take a day or two to update their sites normally (at least), every major US retailer still has the old date as well. That is normal, they don’t have people scouring game news sites for stuff like this. The distributor will call them and they will update their street dates then.

Haha, good one
I hope they take one week off now, so they can be all fresh and motivated when it comes to patching stuff asap
the news was posted here and at Bethesda forum before an Official post, not everyone has that twitter feed, it’s likely some of the SD people are just as surprised as us
Excellent news but I’m going to be an unashamedly selfish dick here and ask how it’s going to affect the PC release? I’m guessing the early release is a result of the console certification going perfectly, that certification period of course was also the PC tweaking window.
Of course if we’ll see some rolling patches on the PC version over the first few months (rather than synchronised patches with consoles) or the PC version is also complete in SDs eyes then this is largely moot.

I had so wanted to post that Badman meant to say that the release date had been pushed up for the console versions only, but figured I would be lynched most certainly and decided against it…
A reverse delay? Hells freakin yeah. Of course, now this pushes up my ‘Build a computer’ time but I’m not mad.
We don’t know the full details so I see no need for drama but it’s a fair question given what we’ve already been told about how the PC stuff is coming last*.
*I understand this doesn’t mean ALL PC stuff was coming last, just the stuff that made no sense to develop when working on 3 platforms.
