got fragger, dont play fragger but im not fussed. just buy a bunch of 1k cases using in game cash u get from wins and doing the daily mission until u get close to what u want and if u still dont have it then trade up.

Lol sure I will think about if they add a trading system, Proxy is actually my favorite Merc, however in terms of loadout yeah I would look for something else. What does Arty have anyway? Proxy Obs card is based on hit and run, no fall dmg, reload while running, heal packs on kill etc. Also as for profile pic I chose Arty cause he looks like me… no joke.

Hmmm too bad, I didn’t unlocked anything during the last stress tests, because I was thinking everything will be wiped out … as always they don’t give us clear informations…
And for this crappy obsidian thing … a useless retribution means no retribution at all imho ^^ So please give us the opportunity to trade them, and everyone will be happy… that’s not a great sacrifice, insn’t it ?

Also we are doing basically work for the developers, back in the days where games weren’t release unfinished because they needed to be, studios hired beta testers. We stress tested the game, we provided feedback and ideas.
Having the possibility to choose one loadout card which doesn’t cost the develpoer anything isn’t too much to ask if you ask me.

Those cards actually “cost” the devs a lot of man power to create; it’s not as cheap as you’d think due to the artists having to do hours upon hours of work to create. Plus the programmers jobs to implement them etc.
If we were able to choose which cards we wanted, there would be very few of certain character’s cards. If that were to happen and this game is implemented with steam marketplace and trading; those cards would be stupidly expensive. At least with RNG, there may be some balance to all of it.
The only thing I’m butt hurt about is that the founder’s cards aren’t out yet. I was looking forward to getting all 5 of em’. :neutral:
the thing is u dont use just 1 merc in 1 game u use afew to support the team. proxy is pretty good at defending the objectives i think u should learn how to use proxy. also it was a free gift and u seem to be so mad at it. also u can buy alot of cards for the ign money and then trade them up for something better so theres no reason to be mad
saying that i did get the obsidian sniper guy card pretty happy with that
@ artfulSedan: you have a very twisted view on your role here. You did not work for SD or this game, nobody ows you anything.
You had the chance to play and test this game before the majority and maybeee have a tiny little input on the final product via feedback ( amongst thousand others).
the “beta-test-work” ist done by people analysing the data, working with echo and summarising the feedbacks given. we are the guinea pigs in the lab that produce data.
lately someone in a game chat complained, that SD would FORCE him to play a merc he doesnt want to play. That summarises how pathetic and shortminded this whole discussion really is.
This is supposed to be a one of a kind gift. There’s a lot of chances to not be able earn another one anymore (unless someone from the dev steam says it is). So I really don’t think that it’s not understandable that to see someone disappointed to earn a card that he’ll never use because it belongs to a merc he hates to play. By the way, complaining is not against the forum rules as far as I know. So yeah, in short, in don’t care. I don’t want to be toxic for the forums or somthing, I don’t want to sound like a dick either, but I just don’t care if I have the right to complain or not. I’ll now put this aside, because weather I have the right to complain or not is a very bland topic. I just won’t ask to have to choose my loot or whatever, because this is too easy.
My suggestion about a player to player trade system still have some perks, and wouldn’t be an harmful addition. By the way Steam already has a trading system on it’s own, even allowing to trade things from two different games. How about making Dirty Bomb compatible with it ?
