The tier 3 assist badge remains ever elusive, even with them lowering it to 30 from 50.

@IAmYourDad I got all of my 20 melee kills with sporks :3
cricket bat + chopper + super speed > weeb stick
or there is the gotta go fast 181 where you can zoom around with the beckhill

I always felt that gold badges are pointless and most of the time indicate lack of skill or imbalanced games. Hey, one should do a badge guide!

  • Healing 3 (“Provide 5,000 healing to teammates during a match”): Join 8vs8 FFA server, pick Aura, make sure the other team lacks skill in throwing nades and molotovs, place health station in a good spot, convince your team to camp around health station.
  • Explodydendron (“Kill 5 Players with a single AoE blast.”): Join 8vs8 FFA server, pick Arty, wait for 5 enemy players to repair the EV, drop air strike. (They might as well rename this to “Darwin award”).
  • Goldlike (“Get 15 kills without dying”): Join 8vs8 FFA server, team up with 2 or more somewhat skilled friends, spawn camp the enemy. Reject all shuffle requests.
  • The doctor (“Revive 7 players inside 15 seconds during the same life”): Join 8vs8 FFA server, pick a medic, help defend a generator room, never charge your defib when reviving so your team mates get shot again and again and again and can be revived again and again and again. It also helps if revived team mates lack the skill to take cover.
  • etc etc etc.

I like the bronze and silver badges a lot more because they mostly tell you that you’re doing your job pretty well.

Of course, if you manage to get a gold badge on a min 10+ server with decent and balanced teams it actually accounts for something. But the badge screen does not show the difference.

Off hand I can think of melee 3, assists 3, explodeawhateveritscalled, and none of the execution badges. I’m thinking there is another gold one I’m missing but don’t remember what…

]Assists level 3 is pretty much impossible at this point. I need me kills.
Explodeydendron I got once but it didn’t count with skyhammer.
I don’t play Medics that much.
And I have got 50 kills in a match once, but again did not count.
And I play Thunder too much to complete the objective by myself.

I’ve almost got Explodeydendron a few times playing Kira, but I don’t really play any other mercs that I could get it as. Unless you count an extremely lucky proximity mine.

I got 50 kills once in a stopwatch match as Thunder, but it didn’t count for whatever reason.
50 assists I’ve never gotten.

I guess I’m not the only one…I swore I killed 5 people with my laser but I didn’t get the badge.

How the hell does anyone get 50 assists in one game? How do you almost kill someone that many times? And how the hell do you have team mates that help you get these kills you couldn’t quite get? This seems harder than getting 50 kills by yourself. Absolutely ridiculous.

It’s really, really, REALLY difficult, bordering on impossible. I think PaNda tried to get it a few months ago, but never succeeded.

That’s why it was reduced to 30 assists, which is a lot, but doable. Without focusing on murdering, I’ve gotten the level 2 (20 assists) 4 or 5 times since the change. If I really wanted to, I’d grind games as Aimee for a lot of SNITCH assists to get it.

The badge screen never got the update.

The best combo i ever recived is both Triple kill and killing people with knives in the same game twice…not even my potato aim can stop me there.

Take pride in not getting the 50 assists badge. It’s the equivalent of a pat on the back for coming second. Just kill the bastards instead of assisting!!
