A unique card for each character you create viewable on the scoreboard during matches that has Faction Specific Badge and Rank, Insignia based on Class Performance and Faction Preference, and a number next to your gammer tag showing your progress on the Ark. Also cool features to think about is Point of Origin (Fictional Birthplace) that players can designate to distinguish each of their characters so you end up with something like this over time:
