Wolf add me if you play on ps3 we laugh alot here but dont know if we ever had a match together
Badges & Insignia
I had a similar idea ! I really like the sound of it. Reminds me of Bad company 2, the different medals and badges were something that really kept me going to play more and more! Cheers! Sure hope SD reads this and takes it into consideration.
No badges, emblems, or tags for me thanx.
If I want to brag and be a teamless one man army, Ill play CoD. If I want to work together with my team and actually accomplish something, Ill play this. If Im trying to accomplish something with my team, why should I have an emblem pop up whenever I kill someone, or have some lame insult as a tag? Im good, I respect Brink and I do not respect the whole emblem, kill tag, tagline, monikor thing that Call of Duty has done.

I know where you are coming from, but I don’t think its about medals for kills. I thinks its for in-game objectives or things that help your team. I don’t reckon there should be much reward for “teamless one man armies” in Brink.
Corecto mundo! But sadly I don’t think it’s going to happen, even though it’s an awesome idea…
I think its a cool idea and can be made to fit the style of Brink and be unique to Brink! I also like the idea of point of origin to round-out a character.
Weapon specific Badges would be cool as well, as suggested by smoochy. Ideas off the top of my head:
Eliminator
Assassin
Firestarter
Rifleman
Pistoleer
Gunslinger
Sexual Tyrannosaurus

i aint got time to bleed!
could even be an achievement for 100 revives etc
Turncoat - Achieved by 3+ TKs in one match
Who else to think of this badge/insignia?

/old man pissy attitude on
“Fanboi in Trolls clothing”.
Immediatly play a game shouting “GG! GG!” after posting on the forum about how much you hate this and that and blah blah blah.
I know of a few people who would get that within five minutes of Agents of Change going live.

Lmfao Correct you are…Any new names on that list yet?
there are some givers of the TK gift that prefer to remain anonymous donors, but we know who they are…
lol wolfnemesis75 the Rager= Soldier specific or outfit specific lol
wolfnemesis75 The Clown = Face paint
wolfnemesis75 The Cannibal = Soldier Achievement = Scavenge 3 enemy corpses in a certain time limit… say 10 sec?
ZionDelhamorte The Martyr= Medic Achievement = Get incapacitated while Reviving someone
The Cannibal. That sounds cool. Silence of the Lambs.
Another thing brought up over at Bethesda when I posted this there as well, was the concept of if you are born on the Ark or off the Ark. So Arkborn. If you were able to designate where you came from even if it is just a personal choice, would further add some realness and context to each of your unique characters. Even if the places are not specific to present day, so not the USA. Maybe you could choose that you are from the North Atlantic, Far North, Southern Islands. Just global general area as if because its the future everyone has a cloudy memory of where they are from.

Promoting team-killing in a multi-player environment seems to be, quickly frankly; an utterly stupid idea.
Sorry.
Nah. Cuz with friendly fire on you can kill your team mates by mistake. Its like a booby prize. But I am not a fan of team killing. You right about that part.

- It was entirely in jest
- Not all badges and insignias are honorable ones.
This is an intriguing idea. While it might not be significant content in size, it would definitely, as you say, add another lay of progress.
If they did have badges or insignia, then it’d be cool if in-between rounds or maps we could check other people’s cards, showing their badges or insignia, and compare them to our own. And see like a small picture or snapshot of their custom character along side the badges, stats, abilities, point of origin, moniker, slogan, and class distinctions. Even if it was just a small picture of the character model to give an impression. So if you are medic focused, perhaps it would display some pertinent information that distinguishes your Medic from others like for example it could show their specialty. Revives. or Adrenalin Boost.
Another thing that might be cool is we know the overall battle for the Ark on the stat page and who is winning each week. It may be cool to have a breakdown of your contribution to that fight. It’d show on your card what percentage that you fight for Security or Resistance, which maps that you win the most on so that you could see where you would like to focus on your faction.
