Are you giving away your beta-keys?

(MrFunkyFunk) #21

All the people I gave them to, from all backgrounds, stopped playing after a short period (for the all reasons we know).
I think I still got one or two, not sure since I gave some to other testers, but there’s no point giving more in the current state of things.

(Glottis-3D) #22

we kinda went back to pre alpha state, with only very hardcore, ballsy and handsome players.

(twincannon) #23

servers so empty lately :[

(Complications) #24

Whats a server

(Protekt1) #25

How have you gotten 20 keys to give away?

(k0k0nat) #26

I think Pixel got more keys because of his YT / Website Community and Give-Aways.
Same as the guys from EvacZone got more keys for their community work. (Both deserved it.)

Think we have had close to 50. All of which have been given away. Keys seem quite easy to come by these days. Not sure how hard it’d be to get in if you wanted a key?

(prophett) #28

For the last round of keys, I had two registered emails and both received two sets of 3 keys (12 keys in total). I’m sure it was some sort of mistake but I obviously never bothered to bring it up 8)

(Protekt1) #29

Give me spare keys, I can give them away to people.

(Rex) #30

Supplied all friends I know and gave out 30+ keys for random people and teams. Still got some lying around…

(Protekt1) #31

I could use them to send out to people.

(Rex) #32

Guess what, I could do the same! But as 90% of my keys were wasted sadly, I just don’t want to spread any more keys out anymore. These people add nothing to the game and on the other side it’s better when the game gets closer to its final version.
Though if you have a real tester we could talk about it again.

Fair enough, I don’t know if they would stick around or not. A couple people I had in mind loved et and qwet but that apparently isn’t enough to keep people.

(Rex) #35

That’s right, having played those old games isn’t enough indeed.
Just take a look at how many alpha players are still active here and then go even one step further and look how many oldschool players actually play the game. You must either have the right tester spirit, being desperate or nothing else to do, or all of that.

and being extremely sexy, and handsome!

(prophett) #37

I normally hold onto at least 1 key in case an old friend/teammate crawls out from under a rock and wants to play. Sadly i’ve given all of mine away and am in need of one if anyone has one to spare

Does everyone automatically have a beta key to spare or did everyone spam the beta signup with alt emails?
