I got this in the last hour of the meltdown from a guaranteed case.

Come on Feley don’t be a Rhino picker.[/quote]
I don’t even like Rhino… I am just one desperate man trying to get that CW card…
I pretty much played all week-end. And luckily I got one case. But I agree with many who didn’t get a case. I’m saturated of DB right now and won’t be touching it at least until the next update.
I feel like although this event succeeded at filling up servers, it didn’t succeed in making us play and enjoy the game. I saw plenty of people (high level) just roaming around the server’s not even doing the objective and hoping as a defender for a quick plant. Just to have games end quickly, to get that extra chance at a case.
Many people played more in these three last games, than they played in the last full month and as such they got to get that friction feeling from rubbing your skin over and over again at the same spot. Experiencing, poor balancing, bugs and other issues over and over again.
I’m sure that servers will be quite empty for some time after this and in the end, Dirty bomb will have less players playing the game in a normal setting, than if there would have been no event.
I played solidly during the event, but never got one, my friend who has only just got his first PC and only just started playing Dirty Bomb got one, really happy for him and quite jealous of his luck, but the drop rate seems to be a bit too little. would have been nice to just give away 1 case to every player who played during the event as a thank you to the community. since i have known a lot of players have really bad luck with getting any at all.
Agreed, since the start of the CW event I just got the feel that they never wanted to give a CW loadout away, but max out on potential buyers. Like even the Elite cases we got when we already owned Phoenix were not CW elite cases, but just normal. Same for the expert cases. Thanks and all, but not even a CW loadout chance in those.
They could have given a guaranteed one to every participant or sold them for 1 euro a piece during a week or so. But they seem to have the most idiotic marketing people working there. Out of 100 people if 75 buy three cases at 1 euro each, they make more money than if only 2 people buy two 35 euro packs. Especially, when those 2 people might even buy 20 single cases each.
Like it or not, people playing free to play games usually have little money, that’s why they turn to a free2play in the first place rather than buying a triple A game. So making things affordable for everyone makes them earn more money. The has/has not duality doesn’t work if the barrier to be in the “has” group is too high. And for many, 35 euros was too much. Unfortunately, I’m afraid that SD/Nexon will not learn from their mistake. They never do, except for not giving the damn patch notes out before we can all experience the game for ourselves.
