actually a good part of any dlc IS on the game disc. downloadable doesnt mean much. :smiley:

lol Your obviously not a diablo fan. Not as many updates for diablo and when it did it usually resulted in less builds and making the game a little less fun. The same people who designed diablo 2 did not have any thing to do with the patches, so I know exactly what to expect from diablo 3.

SD is not a giant company, but they make amazing games and one of them is free. You will never see blizzard do that. I just hope they release a SDK and keep making games but some one might be afraid it could hurt rage’s or other games sales? IDK. SD has a lot to worry about especially with lame hackers so cut them some slack. :frowning:

Can we assume that this is in Microsoft’s hands, as said DLC is awaiting certification for XBL?

(This assumes, of course, that the devs would be keen to release on all three platforms at the same time…)

One of the few announcements they’ve made since release was to let us know that the lag patch was sent off to microsoft and we should expect it within a week.

So to answer your question, I’m guessing no.

I would love to see some of ET’s map be ported to Brink and put in a 'long long once upon a time" rotation for the singleplayer (and for the MP just whatever the one running the server wants to run I guess :slight_smile: )

Also, I think Vulcano from Quake Wars might be good too, and Slipgate minus vehicles.

They haven’t even announced an official date yet and the month is half over. I doubt we’ll be seeing the DLC until at least the 30th if not the 15th of July.

P.S. Haven’t seen any update.

Well whatever it is, its killing my spirit. Its just got past the 2.4GB mark and its still updating. This is why steam sucks, I can’t even play a local solo game of Brink whilst it updates.

SD seems to be able to update Brink on xbox in the background. Because I’ve seen all of these things already.

people will recieve these many different hours of the day. like many times every one is playing a match and talking about this insane update that i didnt get. then 24 hours late still talking about the update and blam it signs me out and i get an update. strange eh??

but ill check once i am home and see, will return with feedback.

its netvars they can do it without a dl by manipulating fules then “snaps” its all there
