When EU servers are either full or empty(I play at weird times too often), I end up playing quite often over at US East servers and lately I’ve been experiencing the lag as in rubberbanding much more often than usual.
My own ping over at US East servers is about ~130 and when I run into someone else with even higher ping sometimes they even end up teleporting on my screen, literally.
Sniping gets really interested when someone who I have scoped in right on my crosshair suddenly disappears from the scope vision completely.
Anti Lag/ Net code needs work
@Litego its the other way around. the higher your ping, the better off you are peaking first. conversely, the larger the disadvantage if you get peaked.
with 200ping you will identify and hit your target before you register on their screens.
this is why CSGO lan plays so differently, as the peaking player does not have the advantage

True, they do see them long before, but it doesn’t matter because that same delay is applied to the packages sent to the server, so even though the peaker can see and start shooting long before the opponent, his shots are not going to register on the server until after the opponent sees him anyway. The problem is when you switch this around, the server will see and apply damage to the camper (high pinger) before he even receives the package telling him that the peaker has peaked.
So no, the advantage regarding peaking is always to the low ping player. I don’t feel like making an example right now, but it should be obvious that the advantage of seeing someone first is canceled out by not being able to apply any damage to them for that duration due to packages not reaching the server because of high ping.
