EDIT: found a nice md3 viewer, that opens and plays md3 animations:

And I finally got an animated md3 into my map, after 5 hours. Its a small pyramide, that goes up 2 feet, turns, and returns back to the floor. Woa, Loffy! Only drawback. I dont know how to start and stop it, via script. So I sat spawnflags 2, so it starts animated, and keeps moving until game ends…

Hm, maybe I can use that ā€œsetstate invisibleā€ and ā€œsetstate defaultā€ commands?

Yes you could use the setstate command if you want, but you can also use the ā€œnoloopā€ parameter if you want to just run a sequence of animations and stop. The radar script is probably the best example of this.
