The Stark has pretty awful sights and definitely needs something less obtrusive, probably with a dot marker too.
Am the only one who wants a dot sight for my guns?
While I would love weapon customization, it’s sadly not going to be a thing, as sights are a part of weapon balancing. While not a big part of gameplay in DB, ADS has it’s place, and in its current state is pretty good. In my opinion it’s better for the devs to concentrate on other stuff than iron sights.
cough, the Grandeur iron sights need to be changed, cough
Wouldn’t need to add customization. Just change all the guns and their models to include modern sights.
Am I the only one who doesn’t ads?
It really depends on the gun and situation. In a CQC fight (or even mid-range) there is no reason to ADS, but past mid-range ADS helps a lot, at least with guns with strong recoil. Hell, the best way to keep the K-121 on target is to ADS.
I don’t either, only with a sniper rifle.
To be honest, I think this game would be much more enjoyable if it wouldn’t use traditional iron sights. Just zoom in with the usual crosshair, no questions asked!
Pls no it would and sniping proxy s
I like this game because there is no such thing like red dots
Adding ADS would make this game a cod with mercs but this is dirty bomb

…you are aware that the Blishlok has a reflex sight (which is what a red dot is), right? Also ADS is in the game already. Finally, how would adding reflex sights (or holo sights) make it like CoD. Last I checked you couldn’t wall jump, long jump, or even move as fast as you can in DB in CoD.

Actually, if you want to talk more about reality, irons aren’t that bad. You’re supposed to learn any weapon platform you’re using on irons first, then move up an optic after you’ve mastered it.
Irons don’t have batteries, can’t crack and are less likely to get knocked off or get bumped outa zero. It’s kind of the issue of “If it ain’t broke don’t fix it.”
That being said an optic is nice. Really nice. Nice enough to go for $500 on the low end. But iron sights don’t suck by any stretch of the imagination unless it’s a Glock. I love Glock, but god damn those rear bucket style…things are horrible.

Who cares how they act in real life? This is a game, it can’t be knocked out of place, it can’t crack, it doesn’t have batteries, there are no issues, it’s just better. Also in real life it doesn’t have the same draw back of taking up your entire vision as it does in games, that is solved in games by using optics instead.

WHY, CAN’T I, GIVE MORE LIKES
Why to even have the red dot sight or any other sights in this game? The penalty for hip-firing is close to zero

Well obviously, just food for thought. XD

Shooting at longer ranges is greatly aided with sights. It provides a slight zoom-in (greatly increased with the snipers) to take those crack shots. There’s also no cone of fire bloom while ADS, and even a little bit of bloom adds up at range.
It also helps control recoil, and for those with the Focus augment, cuts back aimpunch.
